Those who know what Brie Larson is like will know that she was genuinely excited and touched to tears. Me too. I'd love to know more about native American history. They skirted straight over it in school. It was shameful for how they were treated by Europeans but we should acknowledge what happened and stop pretending genocide didn't happen. None of us were alive then. You've committed an act in reverence to the Golden Globes by putting a comment decrying it, as surely as any same day gossip piece or fan club announcement. Meaning is effort, meaninglessness is the lack of engagement. Everyone knows what a wagon wheel looks like, for instance, despite their usefulness being well past prime, because we engage with the image - we give it meaning. So, while I agree that Golden Globes may be running out of usefulness, your engagement only illustrates your cynicism, not your accuracy.
I generally like Swift, but her reaction to Koy’s joke shows she takes herself WAY too seriously. The joke had more to do with the absurdity of the NFL fan girling over her attendance at games and very little to do with Taylor herself. She was a poor sport. Don’t attend if you can’t handle a joke.

Jo Koy didn't say anything bad to attack her but she just showed her true colors. Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep are way better when it comes to attitude and so classy. Long time professionals, versatile and rich actors but very down to Earth and know how to respect a person who is performing.

Great day for Irish and Greek nominees and winners ... (I'm Irish but mostly raised in Greece lol). I thought McFadden's win was a well-won point of recognition. He has been a good actor for many years - although I'm not a fan of Succession personally. I thought Matt Bomer would win, but was pleased to see Steve Yuen the final choice for the award. A tough category for sure. I also thought Willem Dafoe would win, but well done Downey Jr. - another tough category there! Thank God Emma Stone won and not Robbie or Portman (hard luck for Pöysti too, who'd have lose votes to those two). I'd argue that Stone's film nomination category was comparatively less competitive than the bloody tough TV series category where she was also nominated! p.s. (and my final subjective rant) What the hell were Keoghan and Scott wearing??? dressed for the after-party at the actual event or ....?? clueless the pair of them!
