Здравствуйте, дорогой композитор. Хочу выразить глубочайшую признательность за вашу неоценимую работу над проектом The Case of Golden Idol, как и над его несколькими дополнениями. Насколько был свеж игровой процесс, который преподнёс мне непередаваемый опыт по мере прохождения, насколько было прекрасно визуальное оформление, настолько же и были прекрасен аудио-ряд в вашем исполнении. У меня есть несколько фаворитов из основной игры (как пример, "Маяк"). И есть несколько фаворитов из DLC, как пример, последний уровень первого дополнения, где и раскрылась личность главного вдохновителя, "Паука". И именно этот саундтрек играл в процессе исследования той локации, и именно он удерживал в тревожном ощущении при разгадывании тайны той истории, оформленной в виде причудливых "детских рисунков". "Люди-насекомые", "предметы-ключевые события", - всё это смешалось вместе с саундтреком в необыкновенную картину чистого ужаса и гениальности, - что самой работы, что изощрённого ума злодея истории. Вы не представляете, как мне было жутко составлять ту цельную картину. Мне так жутко не было ни в одном моменте основной истории. И за это я готов отблагодарить команду разработчиков, и отдельно лично Вас, благо, я вижу, что вы отвечаете на "фидбэк". Спасибо вам огромное, Кайл Миско. Очень жду ваших новых работ, как и возможного сотрудничества с авторами данного проекта в обозримом будущем. Ваша синергия с ними просто удивительная, и очень обидно, что ваше творческое влияние не будет оказано на новую игру студии, - как минимум, на основную её кампанию. Love it. Same mysterious and eerie energy as the original tracks but feels a bit more exotic. Vocals in the second half are so cool too! Can't wait to dive into the DLC tonight.
The music for the base game and this dlc are so important for setting the tone and the atmosphere in every level. You've nailed every single track! Can't wait to hear more of your work on future dlcs 🤞

I'm in love with this OST, really shows how dangerous and cunning Oberon is (the term "snake" was well employed by Albert, as well as the nickname of Spider Oberon was given of in Lanka)!
I wonder how much of the DLC plot was already planned out when the original game's story was being made. I managed to make it to the final DLC without remembering who he was.
Yes indeed! Ok so : • The Case of the Golden Idol was released on October 2022 •The Spider of Lanka was released on May 2023 • The Lemurian Vampire on August 2023 So it's most likely for them to have planned the whole story at once - otherwise they're geniuses both for reckoning and thinking about the story and developping everything. 😂 (Since they're already geniuses)

Очень польщен что моя музыка так вас затронула ❤️🔥 Меня очень манит сетинг Азии, и наверное вместе с комбинацией с такой атмосферной игрой + личных событий что я в то время переживал - я написал вот такой саундтрек.. вообще я вырос на таких саундтеках как Диабло/Варкрафт/Принц Персии/Soul Reaver и многии другие с 2000ых, так что всегда приятно работать с проектами где эти вдохновения приветствуют и дают творческую свободу писать от души ❤️🔥

As others have said, you managed to make a track that can both stand on its own but also set the tone for the whole game experience. I was instantly into the song when I heard it, but it got me further into the story. Well done!

Finished the game today, had to look up and bookmark the soundtrack immediately. Love the BGM for the original game but the DLC is even better. Amazing work!
Thank you.. while I composed the original Golden Idol OST when living in Ukraine in 2022, DLC music was all produced in Montenegro one year later, and as I go through more life changing events in life - so does my production gets impacted too.. one of my personal favourite tracks I've ever worked on!
I am absolutely in love with this track, it feels as if the entire story of this DLC has managed to be told expertly through these 6 minutes. The use of the instrumentation with the beautiful culture of this strange new land being twisted into something more sinister, no matter how sacred those aspects of it may be, all for the benefit of some puppetting spider. The mix of the traditional backing instruments, with the main strings feeling almost twisted and contorted into the sinister main melody, chanting coming in to try to bring back the original beauty but to no avail as the song shifts and distorts into haunting echoes, and my non-musical ear can't tell if it's a leitmotif or simply a similar sound in the melody and echoes, but it almost echoes the theme of the Secretive Society, perfectly serving as a dark premonition for the horrible tale that will follow in the spider's wake. I mean no hyperbole when I say this track is seriously a masterpiece.

Once again you knock this soundtrack out the park! Impressive how you used a very different set of instruments yet still make it feel very "Golden Idol"! Where did these vocals come from, did you hire someone or are they sampled?

Yes, it was definitely a challenge for me when starting to work on the track, since like you said - I still wanted to give it that "Golden Idol" sound, yet the setting is completely different, and I've only wrote World & Asian inspired music a handful of times before this one.. probably Griff the Winged Lion OST is the only one featuring an Indian style atmosphere before these DLC tracks: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zg09XcO4HM4.html So of course seeing such positive feedback - I am definitely positively overwhelmed! Still remember the moment I got to composing that part while living in Montenegro in April of 2023.. I can even remember what the day was like outside... I recently finished the Part I of the track and knew that there was more to it.. playing around on my guitar - that chord progression came up (as usual - all my dark soundtrack production is heavily inspired by Diablo, Prince of Persia II Soundtracks and Godsmack) and from there it became very clear how I should build the rest of the arrangement.. so glad many people have enjoyed it!

Is there any way you could post the full Golden Idol ost? I’m not sure the names but the track that plays prominently throughout the game (Plays in Case 3, at the very least) and the song that plays at the lighthouse are bangers.
Крутейшая работа! :) За прошлую неделю прошла игру и оба DLC и сразу же побежала выяснять, кто написал эту крутейшую музыку! :) Спасибо за атмосферу, восторг абсолютный! Вторая из этих двух композиций вообще моя любимая во всей игре - когда неожиданно появляется вокал, такие мурашки!

Love this track. What is the language the two singers are speaking if I may be so bold to ask? I'd love to know if the lyrics have any correlation to the plot of the game or they're just meant to be reflective of the general relaxing vibe of the music. Regardless excellent job and Slava Ukraini!
It sounds like Hindi to me. Parts of it are vocalized notes, notably the Ni and Sa, which is the equivalent of Ti and Doh in the Western system. I dont know enough Hindi to tell you what they mean unfortunately.
