QOTD: Who is the best companion IN ALL MEDIA? Sorry for the awful typo in the intro, I just saw it lmao. "1 Hour** to collect as much scrap as possible"
Thanks everybody for showing so much interest in the direction of my content. It’s super nice to see that I’ll have an audience beyond LC because I think I have a lot to offer beyond it! But I’ll probably try out some ideas here and there while LC content still gets made. Just to ease you guys into it. But I’ll just say if you enjoy my LC content and me as a creator, try to give my variety stuff a shot even if you don’t know the game 🤷♀️. Thanks as always, everyone.
30:14 - Shirt a few minutes prior "Yeah, I dont like horror games but Lethal Company is fun and I like the enemies. The snare flea hearing that: "Say no more, brother. I got you. Literally"
answer to the question "what would i like to see": i enjooy watching chill gameplays with no screaming just yall having fun theese are perfect vids for goodnight so i would say some adventure game type minecraft, maybe content warning stuff like that cuz their gameplays are very similar and i just think it would work out (sorry for bad english im 14 from poland)
cool vids would like to ask for some stats screen in the end - like total $ and per moon, some things like that are nice! also def would watch more than lethal comp, even contraband police (that isn't about the same genre) would be nice on your narratives!
Another great video man, and regarding your question on ideas for content in other games - I guess action rogulelikes or survivor sandbox might be fun, so games like V-rising, Valheim, ror2, etc.
Personally I’d love to see some game reviews from you! As for games to play I’m not sure because we don’t know much about other games you play (making a community post or smth similar detailing genres/games you like and having a convo in the comments of it could help?) and I think doing games that you don’t enjoy would a) make the work process harder for you and b) lower the quality of the game videos overall. The only suggestion I could give is keeping with multiplayer games Nico, Austin and you are very entertaining together!
11:42 idk if youre into it much but you would fit well with subnautica i feel lol also reviews would be cool too, doesnt even have to be about games so literally but i feel your casualness + expertise (on at least lethal company) is def important to note, its probably why i and many others watch you anyways tbh
I love subnautica, super excited for subnautica 2 (not below zero). But game reviews could be good… just not too sure how much that would attract newcomers. Buuut I won’t know unless I try 🤷♀️
@@Shirt113 omg i guess the random feel i got was right lol. you could even talk about why youre not a fan of below zero if you wanted lmao (or talk abt whats been revealed for the new game) but yeah game reviews really depends when attracting newcomers, i think itll depend on whats trendy/popular at the time and also how nuanced the game even is?
About future content, I really enjoyed your Helldivers 2 video! I’d love to see more of the “video essay” type of video. As for games in general, Deep Rock Galactic possibly? More of the iconic “four dudes go SOMEWHERE to make MONEY/kill things” format.
11:00 vanilla minecraft, maybe? But like, rtgame style where you enjoy the game in 50 minute lightly edited videos, not 100 days of constant speedrunning. Even better if it's a blind playthrough, tho you might wanna wait until 1.20.5 at least. Maybe 1.21.
I did one minecraft video before when I was streaming a lot but that is locked in a vault lmao. I appreciate the game, but don’t see myself doing it longterm
I think it might be beneficial for you to start branching out with other games that are similar in nature to Lethal, perhaps some other horror or strategy. I'm thinking maybe like Dead by Daylight, or Fear and Hunger, or maybe even some horror RPGs/JRPGs. Slowly branch out the games with shared themes with Lethal Company, and expand from there as you try to cast a net for a wider audience while also playing trending games when they pop up. I do think you'd be good for reviews, your voice and calm demeanor would be good for that kind of thing! I also think you should continue to try to make content with Austin and Nico, I know I at least really like your group videos. Sorry for the long comment! I hope you're able to successfully change content in a way you're proud of :]
Oh, I also want to say I think hearing you talk about more of the lore side of lethal company and/or other games would be cool if you're interested! I think you could make some interesting content with that.
are you familiar with the games GTFO and Barotrauma? i think they might be interesting games for you channel, as they are also horror themed skill focused games (imo thats a notable difference from a true horror game) GTFO has quite a few similarities to Lethal Company but its slower pace and a lot more skill focused Barotrauma is quite different from Lethal Company but it shares more of the comedy aspects of it, it's also more game-knowledge based rather than pure mechanical skill they're also both co-op multiplayer focused games that are still playable solo (but with increased challenge ofcourse) they're also established games that existed pre-lethal company, which may not seem like a big deal but i think it matters in presentation and audiance reception, as playing a very similar game that released afterwards will usually feel like a cheap copy or cashgrab, even if it isnt i know you said you dont really play horror games normally, and that is fair, but like i said i think theres a noteable distinction between a horror game and a horror themed game and id say lethal company falls in the latter. the horror elements are set dressing around an enjoyable core gameplay loop. such games usually arent overall scary beyond the first few hours of being new to it, and the occasional moment where something unexpected happens overall i find it hard to distill what an audiance likes in a youtubers content, and what would compliment it well
I really appreciate the well thought out answer. I told my gf about this comment and she said we should play GTFO together so we may get another character introduced in the Shirt lore lmao.
JUST finished my cyberpunk playthrough like a few days ago lol. But maybe I’ll give a playthrough style on a different game a shot 🤷♀️. I normally don’t see playthrough working on channels but then again those are newer less established ones. I’ll test the waters maybe.
@@Shirt113 I mean, if you don't want to do some games or styles of games then just don't. You'll find audience in every genre as long as you make it interesting to watch, which you don't seem to have problems.
If you want to stick to something similar, there's more types of the "Four fools go to hell" type games (eg, Helldivers, Deep Rock Galactic, GTFO *though this would absolutely require a fourth person and a harsh learning curve*) If you want to do stuff different, I can't suggest much sadly with not knowing your tastes and as much as I love to see my favorite genres played, turn-based roguelikes may not carry the same audience lmao. Either way, I'll happily atleast check out different content from you!
