SEND OSHIE MAIL Oshie, Nancy & Jesse P.O. Box 3172 Monterey CA 93942 Oshie is always more excited to see Nancy when she gets home. What's up with that? Instagram: / oshies_world Twitter: oshiesworld?lang=en
Same here! The 3 fur babies are all about their momma. She arrives, they bark, jump, do twirls and run around like crazy. I arrive, they smell my pants and shoes like they’re suspicious where I had been.
The proof is in the initial greeting. Dad had to search him out in the house; he ran full speed to Mom! He loves you both, but he plays favorites and Mom is it!
We raised a male collie from birth, and it was the same. He loved the females and was very protective, but played Mr. Cool around Dad. Why, we never knew, except he just favored the ladies over guys!
Maybe he finds mom's arrival more exciting because he gets to do a job for his mom! Dogs love to do something for you and then be told, "good boy.... Such a good boy!" And of course, retrieverers really love that kind of thing. He's probably been waiting and waiting for that moment when he gets to carry her bag inside for her. In fact, it's probably the job he's the most excited about - not either of you ( haha - just kidding)!
really put into perspective how 'massive' the US is, I mean huge. Owning a land that big in my country either means you're a billionaire or the Head of State.
with dad: "oh sup dad how was work i guess?" with mom: omg mom you look so beautiful today like always! work must be stressing u out here lemme take ur bags for u
Dad comes home: "Sup Bro. Wanna hang out?" Mum comes home: "Mommy Mommy, finally you're back! Where have you been? Why did you leave? I love you soooo much Mommy! "😍😍😍
Dad arrives Oshie: “Oh hey Dad. I am ok” Mom arrives Oshie: “Mom! Mom! Mom! You know what I did today? I ran outside. You want me to ger your bag? I get your bag!” Edit: Thank you all for the Likes! We had a dog like Oshie, his name was LOVE. He is a LOVErador who passed away a few months ago. He is like Oshie a lot, he acts all crazy when he sees our Mumma :)
Because if it was the other way around, the video would not be as interesting to most people. We associate good connections with moms and neutral or bad connections with dads. So this video confirms the popular belief that moms are overall liked more than dads.
Dad: "Did ya miss me boy? Do you want a cookie?" Oshie: meh... Mom: *pulls into the drive* Oshie: mOMmma OMG I missed you, holy heck you're home. Lemme grab your bags, I'm such a good boy, I know, I love you.
Peter Coblentz He eats as soon as I get home. It's crazy. I think it's because he knows that as soon as I get home, if he eats his food he gets lots of treats from mom and people food.
Robert MacDuffie You just described our dogs. And mine is on a diet......he's not happy about it. "But I'm hungry mama!" Meanwhile his dish is still full of food that he only took three pieces out of.
I had a golden once. I took him for long walks every day, bathed him, gave him car rides, let him sleep on my bed sometimes... I spoiled him rotten. Yet, he had a deeper affection for my mom.
Don't feel sorry for dad, dad's a good sport and is secure in his relationship with Oshie. So much so he shares Oshies love with the world. Oh and thanks for your service mom!
He made sure his mom is coming by going back to check, so cute. This is like my little bear, he doesn’t really react to my family, but when it comes to me I he would whine, wag his tail, scratch the door, run around near the door the moment he hears my car, but he doesn’t react to anyone else and he always runs past everyone just to run towards his mom. Even now as I’m commenting he was just wanting attention by rubbing his face and laying on his belly, he eventually got under my arm and is now taking a nap, haha
Great video! Our dog greets the wife and I the same exact way. He also does the yoga pose into the roll over lol. P.S. I was pleasantly surprised when mom came home in a full military uniform. That's so cool! Thank you for your service.
Its not just the Dog, Humans do that too. Dad goes home: Me: oh your here Mom arrives: Me:where were you mom? Mom: why did something happened? Me: Yes, your not in house when I arrived thats what happened.
@@joecombs7468 our daughter was the same when she was little ( now she's 20!!!) It was ALL about daddy. Lol. She couldn't say daddy right when learning to talk.... so it came out as dadden.. then it was dadden dadden dadden all day long pretty much until he walked thru the door 😂❤ she's still so close to her daddy too. It's a family thing I guess..bc on my husbands side, his dad, we call him pop... Takes all the grandchildren and great grandchildren..to dinner every Friday. EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY. he takes whichever kids want to go to dinner, to dinner. So our daughter ALWAYS goes..( I didn't raise a fool😂) usually a cousin or 2 is there as well. (&It was really nice for us in those early yrs....knowing we had Friday night date night) We're so blessed. He's literally the worlds best poppop and my husband is, and will be, the same way when he's a grandpop.
@@libertyjo6238 that sounds great! I got a text from my daughter the other day, "Daddy you are the coolest uncool kid I know" Made me laugh a little and smile a lot. One day it will be your husband taking the grandkids & great-grandkids to dinner on Friday nights. Sounds like you have a great family. You are very fortunate.
It’s his tone.. and the dog knows... she likes the dog more than he does. She also gives the dog a job to do, a way to please her... Retrievers love that stuff.
Dempsey, who is Oshies Sister does the exact same thing! Of course my wife Amanda sent me this! What is up with these pups? Hope ya'll are doing great and loving the best liter of any Golden ever!
Brian Young Gigi and Haven made some smart pups! They love their momma! It's because we treat them like our kids. Hope you, Dempsey and Amanda are doing great!
Dogs are pure beautiful souls. Now that my kids are teenagers, my dog is the only one that keeps coming to the door to greet me every time I come home, the best stress reliever ever
My cats greet me and when I have groceries, they act just the way the kids used to, hovering around the bags, sticking noses in them - " got treats", "did u get my Fancy Feast" etc. Yeah. 🐈
She was in camo. Could she have gone overnight for a time or two due to being in the service. This would make him happier knowing that she actually came home again.
I mean, I don't want to say he's got a favorite here...I'm _SURE_ he loves you both equally... But for crying out loud...he carried her purse in for her! lol
Yess! This is literally what I look forward to the most when I come home after school. Not the food, not the relaxing, not the me- time, just my dog wagging her tail and being happy to see me.
Mama's boy! Bond between a mother and her child is truly special :). But if it helps you feel better. my cat doesnt give a rat's behind about me/ At least Oshie wags his tail when he sees you.
Gimme that bag Mama your home now, your job is to pet cuddle and play with me. Come on hoomans lets go inside! So precious! 😊 The way he ran back to make sure his Mama was following him?! So fricken cute!! 😂
Awww it looks like Jesse is jealous because of the attention that Oshie gives to his mother. Oshie when dad comes home: "Well Dad's here. I think I will be cute so that I can go out around the yard for some fun and of course it's time for cookie." Oshie when mom comes home: "Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dad look mommy is home........................... Open the gate!!!!!!!!!! Let me go see her and bring her bag...... Yes thank you!" #Oshieisbest Love Oshie!
Adriana Plays Thank you very much for your support! I received my degree paid for by the government and have learned Soo many different skills that I will use when I Get out. I've traveled and have worked with military members from different countries and absolutely LOVE my job! 😁😉 I get to manage millions of dollars. It's fantastic.
Maybe Oshie knows as well!! Oh hi Dad, back from sitting on your butt in an airconditioned office again? Well, sucks for you.. vs. Oh hi Mom, you must have had a tough day, let me carry your bag!!!
Made me think of the show "Dinosaurs" in the 90s. The baby always yelled at the dad, "Not the Momma!". My pets are the same way and it drives the fiance nuts cause he tries harder.
I used to be the pet sitter for a couple I worked with--they traveled a great deal, so needed someone without a family (the freedom, that is) to stay for as long as ten days at a time with their MANY pets (five cats and two dogs). The Golden was one that had to bring me something every time I walked through the door--didn't matter what it was, he'd have something in his mouth to "hand" me and his tail would be wagging about 50 beats a second. His brother-by-another-mother was a mutt (my favorite breed!), and he was SO CHILL! He'd lazily come over to me once the GR was settled on the sofa, and he'd just stand there, waiting for me to pet him and talk to him, then he'd lead me to the sofa, wait for me to sit down next to his "brother," and then he'd jump up there, lay his head on my lap, and go to sleep for a while 🤗😀
My German Shepherd is a total daddy's girl. She always comes to me for sympathy when she bops her nose on something or falls off the bed. Just like with humans you tend to get "mamma's boys" and "daddy's girls" when it comes to dogs. I'm not sure if that is our own human biases influencing the dog's behaviour or if it is something that comes naturally to them. It would be nice to see a study into this phenomena.
My brothers labrador likes me a little too much, my brother is very spontaneous and erratic, while I am very calm and assertive, we're opposites pretty much. I watch his dog every wednesday and she just wants my attention constantly! I sit down and she jumps up on me thinking she's a lapdog.. it also doesn't matter how many people are present if I'm there, she'll always want my attention and I think my brother gets a little jealous lol. I also had a female cat growing up and she only liked me, I sleep on my side and she would jump up on my hip and fall asleep with me every night. Funnily enough no male animal has ever been very attached to me so I think you have a point.
My female husky is a daddys girl. Im okay, and if i work a really long shift or go away for the weekend or something, she’ll be the most adorable little ball of excitement and love for like 3mins lol. But when my bf - her dad - gets hone from work, she is insane lol. No matter how long he was gone, few hrs, a day, a weekend. She goes crazy lol. Im so salty about it. She was supposed to love me most lol
I get the same thing. Our two chihuahuas show me plenty of love and affection when I get home from work but when they hear mom's garage door opening they lose their mind.
