Looking at google maps, looks like they built a channel between the ripogenus dam and the station, probably to control the flow through the generator. The channel is probably tunneled through that cliff

I looked it up and thought I included some text in the video. Hmmm. Well it’s a tunnel from the dam to the power plant. Totally underground. In fact to divers died working on it and there is a memorial on a rock at the damn for them.

Makes me feel better about never seeing a moose after you went deep into the main back country and came up short. Good effort though!

All my years in the woods I’ve seen 4. 3 at one time while camping on the other side of Vose spur and the one I shot in my 20s. The rest have been butts as they run into the woods while driving lol

It appears he was the driver of a pickup truck that crashed into a logging truck. RIP

Wow I couldn’t find any info but I was focusing on workers that died. I’ve leaning towards putting a CB in the van so I can track the trucks. I didn’t see any this trip but last winter on the way in to BSP one went by. Because they own the road there are must not be any regulations , it was very over loaded
