How to make Surface 1/2 scarier. On the pause menu, turn down the music but not all the way. Leave like 5% volume for music and a long chilling note plays

Radio head brought me here. I was such a golden eye pro I would Bering the damn consul to work and play on down time! I finished the game on hardest mode!

It's the lack of dialogue in the game. Characters dont talk, especially Bond himself. The music does all the talking in the game along with the visuals. I got scared playing Goldeneye 64 because the music gives out that haunting feel along with the scary enemy faces lool.

The game is very liminal. It's not by design of course, Rare at the time was still very unexperienced, and as a result, some of the levels have massive, wide open areas, or partitions to them that go nowhere. The result is more level and scenery than what is required. A user on here named "RWG" has a video on this phenomenon.

I know precisely what you mean. I felt exactly the same. Only I loved it lol I love emptiness. EDIT: Ok that read edgy af lol I wasn't trying to get that, but I just like that aesthetic and the way it makes you feel. I guess the strange fascination many of us get seeing pictures or video of liminal spaces.
