Adam has taken me so many places I could never go. He makes you feel so welcome and his mood is always upbeat and clean language you can watch with your grandkids and not be embarrassed ❤
Loved this video. Thanks for taking me/us along. I suffered a spine injury in a car accident in 2016 and its pretty cool that i can at least travel and explore with you. I can get out and around somewhat, but certainly not like before. I appreciate ya!
I feel for you. I can't drive anymore myself. Between Adam, the Grimm's (Michael and Jessica) Carpetbagger, and a host of others, I could see the universe like I used to.
Cannot tell you how much I am loving these vlogs absolutely amazing I am so fascinated in anything to do with the old west hopefully someday would love to visit Arizona thank you so much Adam for taking us along on these amazing adventures 😊❤️
Matt here, the guy in all black near the end of the video. Thank you Adam for letting me be a part of your video! And thank you for sharing both Goldfield as well as information about The Goldfield Ghost Tour! It was great having you out there!
The average summer temperature in Phoenix is between 113 and 118 degrees. What you experienced was a cool summer day. As a local, we go out in the morning or in the dusk for outdoor activities. Keep hydrated while you are here! I enjoy your videos so keep them coming!
I'm with you Adam, I would find this more interesting and fascinating than any modern theme park because your looking at history. Great stuff buddy. 😎👌👍
Spent many summers in the 80's and 90's there in that area. My mother lived in Queen Valley, and the memories I have of that area are fond. Always remembered staring at the Superstition Mts in awe. The sunsets were amazing. I haven't been out there since '95. Thank you for taking me back!
If I could give this two thumbs up I would. Best friends of mine who I bought my first horse from in CA moved to Apache Junction in the 1980's and it became a tradition for me to come out at Thanksgiving and spend 4 days with them. We rode horses they owned out in the desert and kept this tradition up in the 1990's. They have since passed and I do miss not going to Apache Junction since 2007.
Awesome! You made it out to some of our local attractions. Thanks for showcasing some of the lesser known Arizona treasures. Really enjoyed your visit to AZ. Hope you come out again for cooler temps sometime!
Also recommend if you can get out to Arizona in the spring time, you can catch Spring Training Baseball & Everything blooming at the Desert Botanical Garden
Great video Adam. So many great views of this town. Looks like you are in a western movie set. There are some great stories of the superstition mountains across the way that you captured in your video. Some say that many people have gone missing in search of the lost gold.
Adam i must say, I love places you go, but this place, makes me actually wanna go. It was amazing! I love James Stewart, Dean Martin, John Wayne, and Clint Eastwood movies and this place just brings me right into one of their western movies. Thank you so much for this. Everyone there is just wonderful
Goldfield is the best! I got to go there last summer. I loved it. The man in the bowler you chatted with near the end was our super awesome guide in the mine tour. He's a film enthusiast as well. He complimented the "M" (1931) t-shirt I was donning. :)
Such a treat seeing you explore my state and area (the “east valley”), taking your time, and enjoying the sites through your vlog(s)! Such a calming enjoyable experience exploring nature and the history of the Old West-a nice adventurous escape in these often bewildering stress laden modern times we live in! The guides were great indeed! The “one-teens” temperatures are approaching…
The LOST TREASURE is generally believed to be in the Superstition Mountains, near Apache Junction, east of Phoenix, Arizona. There have been many stories about how to find the mine, and each year people search for the mine. Some have died on the search.
This is true. As someone who works at the foot of that mountain, I can confirm that deaths and disappearances of people on that mountain are still a common occurrence.
The mine has already been found but the small cache spots are still there if you want to learn more check out mystery of the superstition mountains where you can hear the true stories from the curators there
This place is on my bucket list! Always had a fascination with old mines and the rails that would go through them. And of course the gold in the mines. Thanks for this awesome journey Adam!
Visited in 2019. Loved it. The Mammoth steakhouse was delicious and quite the museum in itself. Eating while looking at the view of the Superstition Mts is thrilling. I've traveled all over the country and a few parts beyond. This is one place I will definitely come back to.
I have lovedddddd these vlogs in Arizona.. I am a third generation native and loved seeing some places I have never even been to.. hope you can come visit in the fall or cooler months … I’m glad your flesh didn’t melt off and hope you have safe travels always .. I appreciate all you do 🩵
Adam, you seemed like you sensed someone behind you on the mine tour . I felt like you were being watched. I have lived in three haunted houses . Two were in England and I had several audio encounters . Did not see anything, but saw where things were moved to other places .My dog used to see things . That is freaking weird ! Gail .
Adam, you were in my "neck of the woods" yesterday! I don't actually live in Apache Junction but nearby there. I've always wanted to go to that ghost town and now I just might finally do it! But I'll wait until it's cooler! I generally call our summer neat "blow dryer heat!" Lol! But I'll take our dry heat over Florida's humid heat any day! 😁
I'm with you Adam, I love these old west places, I have seen other vlogs of Apache Junction, but don't recall any taking us on the excertions, thanks for taking us along, this was a lot of fun
Glad you enjoyed your time here in Goldfield. We all take alot of pride in our work here. It was also a pleasure to meet you in person. I've been a pretty big fan of your content and have watched you throughout the years along side The Carpetbagger and Justin Scarred
Adam, I do agree. Some theme Parks try to hard to wow people, so they spend themselves out of existence. Just keep it simple, but it doesn’t hurt to have a great tour guide. Another great video!
I absolutely loved this! I want to go there now. I"m from NH and have been to AZ several times but not here! I'm going to watch more of your older vids! Thank you a year later! lol
Wow this is special. My mom and l have been here a few times and other attractions throughout New Mexico and Arizona. Always love it when you come through Adam and if your ever inclined to stop in Deming, NM, theres some really beautiful places and history to enjoy.
This is a great place. Free to get in and look around. We ate lunch there with the beautiful back drop of the Superstition Mountains. A small live country style band was playing their version of Purple Rain. 😊
So glad to see you in Arizona. I love that old ghost town. I convinced a friend of mine who does not like reptiles to go into the reptile house there. She loved it! They have some really cool stuff. And the people there are awesome. Definitely take the time when they're open.
This was great. I love these kind of videos. Adam, thanks for sharing with the ones of us who will never be able to go and see these sights. Be safe and Happy Trails ❤️
YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOUR VIDEOS MEAN TO ME..I LIVE IN MAINE,WE HAVEN'T SEEN SKY LIKE THAT IN MANY YEARS,CHEMTRAIL N ALL...I HOPE YOU DO MORE AS YOU DID WITH THE BLYTHE CA VIDEO,I REALLY ENJOY THAT ONE ALSO,,.SAFE TRAVELS,THANK YOU
Great video! Thanks for taking us along. We can’t wait to go back out to AZ. We will definitely check out this attraction! We went to Oatman, AZ in January and loved that little old mining town too. More AZ videos, please!
This is the spirit that Walt wanted to capture in Frontierland. Unfortunately, the new purple-hair Disney management is slowly but surely getting rid of Frontierland (and all the good that was once Disney).
Absolutely loved this video Adam! I adore these kind of vlogs where you take us to very different and such interesting places, keep them coming! The mystery house was so crazy!
I loved your tour. I love places like this. I would love to go to a place like this. I love history and loved seeing all the things they showed of the way things used to be. An amazing place to visit. Thank you so much for sharing. Very interesting and educational.
LONG LONG LONG LONG TIME follower!! I've been to the Goldfield ghost town 3 times in the past few years and can't believe you had it to your self!!! Every time we have been there it's been wall to wall people. Love you Adam. Glad you had run of the place. (PS: that last tour guide with the bowler's hat is the absolute best!! Wish he had given you the Mystery tour!! He is AWESOME! Someone give him a raise!!!!!!!)
It did look like a movie set. Cool! Love the Old West. Reminds me of the old Bonnie Springs in Nevada that is unfortunately no more. A old west town with a zoo and hanging (not the animals of course, only humans)
Just moved to apache junction a couple of weeks ago from Kansas . I live about 8-9 min from ghost town , we went last weekend & it was a fun day! The steakhouse is amazing , the gun show is pretty cool & the zip line was fun! Although I have amazing views of the Superstition Mountains from my front porch , the views at ghost town were PHENOMENAL! Def going back to do a horseback ride & the goldmine tour
That was so enjoyable, informative, and interesting. You're absolutely right. The guides were top notch. I really had the feeling they like what they do.👏🌞👏 That's one place I want to see. Thank you so much, for letting us tag along, Adam, minus the heat. 🌞🤗🌵🐍
How cool is that place? Glad you got a chance to visit. I visited a few years back; great time. Phoenix is an optimal place for New Yorkers to visit. It’s wide open, slower paced, dry, less expensive and there’s things to do and see.
Oh Adam thank you thank you... This brings back so many wonderful memories.... This is my childhood... Those superstition mountains i still see in my deeams ... Again thank you!!!
