Great kit. Really like it. The more we can see via the mirror, the better. GS should have you do a video on how to.....The install seems very simple. One warning to all, pay attention to how to remove the OEM mirror. Its simple but can be tricky and tabs can break. Max, Goldstrike should option sell the mirrors without the LED signal. Not all like the LEDs. This is a cleaver kit to own.
They do have a kit with no LEDs... maybe you missed that! I will have them here maybe tomorrow. They are already for sale on our website, I think they are $65!
Agreed! The only drawback I can see is that they are more likely to be damaged since they stick out more, and they will almost certainly be shattered if the bike tips over by accident.
Looking forward to see it on the bike. That would help me a lot to decide. I have one question about the folding mirrors. Can you fold while you are riding? If yes than how? The reason i am asking, as i live in Turkey - Istanbul we have real heavy traffic and sometimes we shall need to fold down mirrors to pass between waiting cars. Thank you !! :)
Yes, that is the original reason they were created by a designer in China. They have heavy traffic also. You "double push" the turn signal cancel button and they mirrors move in or out. You can also leave the mirrors open when you turn off the bike by pushing the windshield button. If you just turn the bike off, they close every time automatically.
