Goldthorpe Colliery 1992 

I have already posted this some time ago, but thought it was worth doing again.
Only this time I have spent more time enhancing it, boosting the contrast...brightening up the areas that need it, adjusting colour balance etc.
The film is a class 56 collecting coal from Goldthorpe Colliery in 1992, the pit has since gone and is now a housing estate, making this footage rare, as it can never be repeated.
We see 56093 come off the branch line on to the main line to Ferrybridge Power Station, where it passes Hickleton Main Colliery Sidings Signal Box.....this has now gone also. Along with the branch line and the spot where I am filming, this is now a main road.
Sometimes it is sad to see some changes, and for me this is a sad change.
