This car is looking beautiful with this mechanic. There are many mechanical items to be considered in such a large mechanical swap like the one you are doing on this golf. Without a doubt, it is becoming a show car. Your work is of great quality.

Loving this build so far.. watched 3 episodes last night. The mk1/mk2 golf are my dream cars.. just love everything about them. I probably wouldn't go down the route of a RS3 conversion but instead a 1.8T conversion around 250--280bhp mark, still would be a lot of fun.

I’d like to see more of the wiring side of things but I’m biased. I knew you’d be able to fit the uk loom in. The clock wiring on mine was quite long. I’m interested to see how you go about the loom side of things. Will you keep the mk2 fuse box and run it off that or will you fit the Audi fuse box somewhere. I’ve been looking into the abs setup to see if the mk60 abs (assuming the Audi uses the same) can work with the mk2 and from what I’ve researched it needs rings with 40-50 teeth and the mk2 has 43 front and back so it’s enough. Also found out that the active sensors can work with toothed rings like the mk2 as the mk60 uses a magnetic ring in the back of the wheel bearings. It will be a case to see how the new abs sensors will fit in the housings and how well they will pick up the rings. You’ll get to do it before I get near mine so interested to see how it works out. One steering gear is from a Golf2 part number 191, the other from a Golf3 part number 1H0. That's why the teeth on the cross joints are different. The other Golf2 has probably already been converted to Golf3 axles!? Cable salad oh je mine 🤣🤣😵 Mfg OCWX
