Some poorly assembled clubs came into the shop and we show you how to fix golf clubs. A Bridgestone fairway wood and a Scotty Cameron putter. See how we take them apart (or not) and how we re assemble them.
I never had a doubt that man of your skills and talents would be able to overcome the mucked up repair job and perform a first class repair of the club. Outstanding job, Jim!
Is cutting the collar off to put in that space really that important? Could you just add a bit more epoxy just enough to fill that void being careful not to leave any air bubbles? I realize it could be a centering thing as well but if the shaft fit tight and is centered, is it necessary?
Most of the ferrules I get from major distributors are too small. Some of them I get from not so big guys are way too big. I see you and the mobile clubmaker using BB&F all the time. I don't really like anything they make and their prices suck. Do they fit better than anyone else?
