I never understood this concept. I started out when I was 17 playing from the ladies tees for over three years . Now I can play from blues with a handicap of +3-5. Playing from a foward tee when your an amature can really make the people behind you actually happy and it will teach you how to properly do 2nd shots better for short game.
I can relate to this even though it has never happened to me personally, I have played with a few guys who spend quite a bit of time on the women's tee box. :)
@GolfingTips101 That is not all true by putting golfers in the realm of being normal. but being an athlete involves physical activity or exertion so golf earns its right as a sport and has been for a few centuries because of exactly of what you just said that "it takes balance. aim, coordination, focus, muscle, strength, patience, and skill." I will have to say that golf is one of the hardest sports to try to play exceptionally well in and each time you play you almost never hit the same shot.
Uh, what? I'd like to know from which Rules of Golf Decision you got that impression. Please post it here, because I couldn't find it! Maybe a local rule at your club, but the USGA would say play it as it lies as far as I can tell.
My point is anyone who doesn't hit it very can use them, including men. I bet there are women out there who can outdrive (and score better than) you. Anyone, male or female, who can't reach a par-4 in two from a given tee box should move up, including to the forward tees. The groups behind you will thank you.
My ugly uncle managed to make the most beautiful pole dancer I’ve seen in my life fall for him as he used the Cupid Love System (Google it). It’s bad but I wish I became excited for him but I want such a gorgeous lady to fall in love with me. I am incredibly green with envy. Does that make me a terrible human being?
There's no such thing as "ladies tees." They're the front tees, often used by ladies and others who don't hit it very far (older folks, kids, etc.) . Really, they're "forward tees" or "front tees." Besides, what business is it of the starter's if they guy plays the front tees. He should probably be more worried about 18 handicaps who want to play from the tips to "see the whole" course and bog down the pace of play for everyong else.
dude, any golfer knows there are "ladies tee's" they're are different names for them, they are always red and people without anything in between their legs use them to tee off from. Men don't, maybe boys. P.s. this isn't reality tv, it's called fiction, I know its a foreign concept to alot of you but your allowed to alter facts in order to make your film better. Stonehenge Country Club represent!
Um I can shoot par on most courses and enjoy playing from all sets of Tees It depends on how fast I want to play and what I have going on that day. If someone wants to make fun of me for playing the ladies tees on my first time on a course ill throw 100 down on each hole and move back to the furthest tees and at least win 90 percent of these holes.
He needs to go back to the driving range. How embarrassing for the owner of a golf course to put up with a poser like him. That is why he has to hire people to yell over megaphones. That guy probably hauls his clubs around so everyone can see him with them. And he talks a lot of smack about it. He didn't realize when he got into it that he was going to be that terrible at it. So he golfs alone to hide the shame.
If this actually happened, I hope the guy who would not leave the golfer alone got fired and banned from that golf course. That is no way to treat a customer at your course.
