This channel is golden... Been going through your videos for some months now and I've basically sorted out 70% of problems on my car just watching your videos. Keep up the good work man. I'm by no means a mechanic but your videos have a definitely saved me a lot bucks by not sending it to a mac... Just a side note...my car runs beautifully simply because I watch you. Keep up the excellent work man
Hey, I'm very glad to hear this... And that I've actually helped someone with my videos. I'm also not a mechanic. It's just my many years of experiences with the Mk1 that I'm sharing with you guys. Never thought I'd reach so many people,.so many enquiries daily., but I'm enjoying it ☺️👍
Hi.. Advancing the ignition timing you just need to turn distributor slightly anti clockwise, but engine may ping under load.. Wouldn't actually advise this.
Hey man your videos are really cool. Keep them coming! I have an '97 1.6 Carb that's extremely heavy on fuel...it runs really well, but I checked my choke aftet one of your videos and it's all set up correctly...any pointers as to why it's so heavy?
Hi. Thanks. It could be heavy on fuel, maybe due to carb needing a tune. Make also sure there are no airleaks. Ignition Timing, and also valve timing. Check on this
Will you please do a video on how to fix the hooter, that metal part makes a scraping noise while driving its very annoying when driving and the hooter doesn't always work. Thank you
Hi PJ. my heat gauge light is not working. I see yours flicker and then goes off mine doesn't come on at all. the heat gauge works 100% but the light doesn't flicker or come on at all when turning ignition on. please assist in what could be the cause.
Hello Pj You did a video on leaks and areas which could have problems which was great but I was wondering if the passanger side has water underneath the carpet area how do you know if it's the heater matrix or if it's just because of lets say driving through flooded areas. Is there any way water can seep through into the Matt due to driving through flooded areas and how can i water proof my car, I've lifted the Matt and see no holes in the body of the car.
Hi. Sometimes water gets in from behind the front wheels, as the rain water splashes up against the body . Have another look in that area for small holes or rust build up
Good day I have a problem that I would assistance with I recently installed a 1.8 cylinder head on a 1.3 now I am getting any compression can you please assistant me that you

I wish I could help.. I have personally not experienced this, though have heard it happen to other mk1 owners... But I wud say take car to someone like an auto electrician.. They wud know best. And do come back and give us some feedback so we can learn from it.. All the best
Mr PJ how and where do you turn engine by hand follow all your instructions all that's left is turning of engine... I don't want to start the car without turning the engine
You turn it by the crank pulley with a 19 mm spanner or socket .watch the following video too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rj8vLYaOtR0.html
