I appreciate the honesty about the battery as I’ve been having a hard time finding info on it. I want this watch so bad, but if a round of golf takes the entire battery it’s almost useless.

Hi Ryan. Since I filmed this episode they did an update which definitely improved it. The watch is fine as a GPS but too fiddly for entering what clubs you are hitting. Garmin has a great battery and the Apple Watch Ultra is a nice watch (I have that now) also the new Shot Scope looks good

Great review. I'm currently reviewing this watch too and I've experienced many of the same issues you did, but I wondered if it was something I was doing wrong. Having seen this, it confirms my own experiences, especially with the battery life (mine died on the 16th). Anyway, just wanted to say good job. Subscribed!

great review! I just ordered a basic garmin s12, just to for range finding, to test out. if I like it I might upgrade... but unless you have a watch that pairs perfectly with something like the ct10s I'm just not interested in fiddling with a device after each shot or hole for scoring and stats etc. takes the relaxation out of the sport if you ask me

Thanks Paul. A very honest review. £2000 is top dollar and I can tell that you were somewhat disappointed in it. On that basis, I think I'll stick with my shotscope for now.

Damn wanted to love it. How does a premium watch like this even make it out the factory with such glaring flaws. I also don’t like the need to manually record all shots rather than it being automatic. Garmin all the way for golf nuts!

Much prefer my Apple Watch with the golf shot app. Automatically senses your swing and yardages are very accurate. No need to constantly record your swings.

Hi Paul. I agree. The new update has massively improved the battery life. I saw online and the did it also, that if you delete the wellness app that really helps battery life. The issue for me still is having to select event club to record every shot etc.

The watch is much better since they did an update. It will last 18 holes and the rest of the day. Entering which club you use is very fiddly so I only use if got yardages

Hi. The Garmin has better battery life but worse graphics. Tag did a systems update and the battery life is much better now, which it needed to be. I still find it a bit of an effort to track my shots though. The Tag does look very nice as a watch

@@SamofMalaysia hey Sam. Thank you for saying that. Since i deleted the Tag wellness app it’s been a lot better. I’ll film a new episode now the battery life is much better for that. I’ll film a new episode and keep you posted. 👍🏼

I’ve heard that too. The issue for me is how many buttons you have to press to record every shot.

Yeah what they are not telling you is if you flip the watch over and look at the back, it’s says “ MADE IN CHINA!” no Swiss time piece here, just $2600 of china made. Very deceptive .

This is a shitty watch. I bought it one year ago and now, it could not be charged. Brought it to Tag for repairs. Services came back with all sorts of excuses … that the lugs are cracked, glass is cracked…etc. i only use it for golf and dont remember any heavy knocks to the watch. Their recommendation is for me to buy a new head at half the price of the watch, them doing me a favor… cant claim warranty. Bullshit!!!

That’s terrible. You’d expect better from TAG. Style over substance for this watch
