Goliath is the latest ride to be built at Adventure World, a theme park in Perth's southern suburbs. It is a massive swinging pendulum that reaches 28m above the ground and swings up to an angle of 120 degrees. While you are swinging the seats slowly rotate in a circle so every swing is a bit different. It also features lap restraints rather than shoulder ones which means your upper body feels a lot more free. This is a seriously good ride! Shot on my GoPro Hero 5 Black using a chesty mount.

It's pretty insane because once it reaches its highest point (the ride that is) it feels like you're going to fall right out of your seat. Absolutely terrifying.

This is mine and my brother's favorite ride. First time ever I went on it I almost passed out. For people who haven't been on it yet, I describe it as feeling like you're falling constantly for about two minutes.

I went on this ride last year. I was screaming I love potatoes and prayed to God. After the ride was finished I had to have a group of people carry me off. I was hyperventilating and hysterical.

This was scary asf, me and my 12 yr old ass went on this ride with my friends, everytime i went down, my thighs will lift up a bit and i’ll hold onto my bars so tight thinking “I can fly off any moment here, pls no” I want to ride this ride again now though

It doesn't go all the way around, but you do go semi upside down. From flat on the ground it tilts up 120 degrees in each direction.

Maybe check their website for height restrictions - there isn't an age limit that I am aware of but some have a minimum height.

I'm terrified to go on the Goliath so this kinda helped seeing it doesn't go for too long, if you don't mind me asking do the lap restraints make you feel like you're going to fall out or is it not too bad? Awesome video by the way

Yeh it is short and sweet! The restraints still feel pretty secure - never felt like I was going to fall out. There are over the shoulder bars you can grip onto for dear life too which will make you feel better!

No it goes up to an angle of about 120 degrees. It is enough to make you feel like you are close to going upside down, but it doesn't go any further.
