Im from luzon din at nakapag asawa ng cebuano, nung una natatawa ako kung bakit tinola ang isda kasi tayong mga tagalog tinolang manok lang ang alam😁 And now favorite ko na ang tinolang isda, sobrang lami naman tlga ng fresh isda! Same tayo ng way of cooking ng tinola ,ganyan din ang natutunan ko! though naisip ko din nung una nung pina practice ko sya, na dapat yta unahin ang ibang lamas pero dahil madami naman kaya kahit unahin ang isda, malasang malasa pa din! keep it up po!💓

First time to cook Fish Tinola (dalagang bukid fish) and it is sooo delicious! I am eating it right now. Sooo worth it given na napaka pricey na ng mga veggies and spices. Di ko tinipid sa spices para kagat tlga ang lasa and walang preservatives and recipe mo Mayor Goma! Iba ang style ni Goma sa pagluluto ng tinolang isda...dito sa amin sa Iloilo, kapag boiling na ang water...una namin ilalagay ang camates,bombay, ginger at lemongrass... pagkatapos ang fish at ititimpla na namin ang sabaw....pag luto na ang isda, ilalagay na namin ang katumbal haba at sibuyas dahon...ihahain na agad...pero masarap ang Tinolang isda ni Mayor Goma kasi marami ang ginger nya....gusto ko rin maraming ginger ang tinolang isda ko...
Used to eat at A1 years ago, not sure if its still there. This video made me miss my Cebu and my mom. This is how my mom used to cook tinuwa when she was still alive. Merci.
Dapat unahin ang mga lamas sa boiling water not the fish for 5 to 10 minutes. In fact ilagay first ang lemon grass, then the rest of the lamas para mapunta ang taste sa boiling water. Then put the fish and the last one to include is the leafy vegetables like pechay or malunggay or spinach. However, kudos to you Mayor Goma to include this simple recipe! I love “tuwa” ❤️😀😋

I have to agree on this. "lamas" ung una tapos pakulu-an.. Kung kulo na talaga like nag merge na sa flavor nang water un tomato at tanglad at siling haba. Saka ilagay ung fish at huli ung nga vegies like malunggay or talbos ng kamote

With matching calamansi & fish sauce lo l🥰I love the food of Visayas especially their litson baboy, mangoes, mango balls & otap...My godfather Benjamin Guintu & my mom always by me Cebu specialities especially dried giant pusit peanut kisses when she used to work in Department of the Interior & Local Gov"t...I've been in Cebu two times. People there are very warm & hospitable...

Turu yan ng tatay ko..we're from Palo Leyte. Waray kami kagaya ng misis mo.
Pwede rin po sir unahin muna pakuluin yung kamatis,sibuyas,tanglad,luya ng husto hanggang sa lumabas na yung aroma o katas nya tsaka ilagay yung isda para di madurog

My version is put all the ingredients first ,salt and pepper para lumasa na sa sabaw,pakuluan muna ng mga 10mins then put the fish and the onion leaves.
