Had the chance of having Richard on the same flight Tacloban-Manila 12/12/22. Ang bait, by himself walang body guard. He waited and took his luggage by himself. Took pictures with passengers and chatted with them. 👍🙌😍 So admirable!❤
Sir. Gomz kunting tips lang po about sa gata. Pag once na nilagay nyo yung gata is wag nyo pabayaan na stable lang para di mag bubbles or mag buo-buo habang nag boboiled sya. Gawin nyo is kung di kaya haloin gawin nyo is ei preheat nyo muna sa extra pan and then put it together ang isda at gata tas haloin nyo dahan2 para maiwasan ang pamumuo ng gata at ilagay nyo na sa tulingan tas para tuloy2 na maluto ang gata at yung fish.
Natakam ako habang nanonood, hehe. Actually , first and last akong nakakain ng sinaing na tulingan more than 20 yrs.ago when i was in Makati. At di ko nakalimutan ang lasa niya dahil sobrang sarap nga, pero di ko alam kung paano lutuin. Kaya nung makita ko sa cooking show mo e pinanood ko agad. Now i know how to cook it. I'm a professional cook myself, and i enjoy watching Goma do his thing in his kitchen. I like that he knows what he's doing, and I pick up some cooking "tricks" from his methods too. Sayang athindi ako kasing good looking tulad niya. LOL
Unang-una Richard Ang tulingan ay tuna mackerel at Hindi baby tuna. Lalong Hindi sinaing yun ginawa mo KUNDI ginataang tulungan. Hindi Rin binabalot ng dahon ng saging Ang isda pag prito na Kasi di Naman yan madudurog. Kapag nagsaing ng tulingan sa Amin sa batangas nilalagyan lang ng dahon sa pagitan para wag dumikit yun mga isda sa isat-isa.
Sa lahat ng nag cook ito yung isa sa gusto gusto ko i watch kasi malinis siya mag prepare and very encouraging...at naka aliw when he always get his ingredients on his garden or near places....you can feel the vibrant of their place...i love provinces talaga!❤️🙏🥰 Looks yummy ang cooking ng goma niyo!😁👏
May natutuhan na naman akong luto, gagawin ko yan same proceedure pero ibahin ko hindi ko lalagyan ng gata para tumagal ng ilang araw, suka lng ipansasaing ko, dahil hindi ako nakain ng baboy, i try shrimp katamtaman laki.
I'll try your style, though Batanguena po ako, and we cook tulingan different from what you did, We used dried kamias instead we also use/add pork fat to add flavor and before putting the fire off we put additional coconut cream, Thank you, been a subscriber a long time, always enjoyed watching and learning new technique from you, gudluck and more power..

The intention to wrap around the banana leaves is to keep the head of the tulingan not be separated when cooking for a long time until the bones of the fish to be tenderly soft that could be eaten as it is with the meat. So, it should be wrapped around on the head part that could easily be detached from the body for a long cooking time . That is the way Batanguenos cook tulingan.
Di pa ako nakatikim nito but I'm sure this is really super yummy. Just by looking at the ingredients, the combination of maanghang and maasim plus gata, pork, banana leaves and fried tulingan makes my mouth start watering.

I know how to cook Sinaing na Tulingan, not like this. Just only kamias, onion, garlic, black ground pepper, chili finger. Kung walang kamias mas Ok ang Datu Puti venigar sa isang kilong fresh tulingan, enough na yong 200ml na venigar. Walang baboy kundi Olive oil and beef cubes with a little bit of Aji-no-Moto, lang and 1 and half liter of water. Walang baboy, para less cholesterol. Una, hiwain ang tulingan pahaba sa gitna at linisin ng mabuti at hugasan ng hugasan hanggang maalis ang dugo, pag malinaw na ang kulay wala ng dugo. Ilagay sa cutting board at lagyan ng asin doon sa hiwa at itikod ang palad mo at pipiin kung makaki ang tulingan ay putulin mo sa gitna, ilagay lahat ang mga ingredients na bawang, sibuyas, paminta o ground black pepper, tapos lagyan ng kapirasong dahon ng saging, isalansan mo isa isa bawat layer, another dahon na naman kung may natira pa at kung na ilagay na lahat lagyan uli ng dahon para takip at patungan mo ng kutsara at tenidor sa itaas. Kung venigar yong paasim mo ay ilagay mo yong isang pack na 200ml, takipan mo ng takip mismo ng caserola o kaldero kung anong ginamit mong lutuan na may takip. Tapos pakuluan mo ng isang minuto at kung kumulo na ilagay mo yong isang litrong at kalating tubig.. At ituloy hanggang kumulo, pagkumulo na takipan mo muli at pahinaan mo ng apoy parang nagpapain-in ka ng kanin at ikaw na ang bahala sa timpla ng alat o asin. Pag konti na ang sauce ay ilagay mo yong Chili finger yong pangsigang na sili, after 2 minutes close mo ang apoy luto na yon. Parang saridinas yan at malambot pati tinik at ulo. Kahit isang linggo hindi mapapanis basta nasa chilller ng ref. Kung gusto mong ginatan, kukuha lang doon at lagyan mo ng gata. Gusto mong prito kukuha ka ng iilang piraso at iprito, mas masarap yang sa sinangag na kanin sa garlic. At sawsawan lang niyan ay kamatis, bawang at sibuyan na may labanos. Kami mag saing noon sa Tanauan Batangas pag season ng tulingan isang malaking palayok. Masarap talaga yong may taba ng baboy, suggestion ko lang kasi sa edad ko bawal na sa akin ang karne baka man o baboy. Pwede manok pero minsan lang. Bawal narin sa skin ang tulingan at galonggong dahil mataas ang protein kaya gulay na lang at bangus, tilapia, dalagang bukid ang pwede sa akin. Kumakain din minsan sa loob ng isang buwan isang beses lang.

Hi ...Idol magsuggest lang ako ...pag may gata wag tatakpan agad pagkalagay ng gata hayaan monang kumolo at pwedeng halukayin ang gata para di magkorta o mamoo ang gata pra malinamnam ,saka n lng tatakpan pagmedyo tumigil n yung pagkulo.Kahit s anong luto ganyan ang ginagawa wag tatakpan haluin lng muna bgo tatakpan.
