Tal vs Botvinnik 1960
Moscow
No sooner did Mikhail Botvinnik regain his title, the chess world became entranced by charismatic young Latvian named Mikhail Tal. Tal won the 1958 interzonal tournament at Portoroz, then helped the Soviet Union to retain the Chess Olympiad; before going on to win the 1959 Candidates Tournament with 20 out of 28 points--a point and a half ahead of second place Paul Keres.
Tal often sacrificed material in search for the initiative in chess. With such intuitive sacrifices, he created vast complications, and many masters found it impossible to solve all the problems he created over the board, though deeper post-game analysis found flaws in some of his conceptions. Although this playing style was scorned by ex-World Champion Vasily Smyslov as nothing more than "tricks", Tal convincingly beat every notable grandmaster with his trademark aggression.

Winged hussar throwing pommels exactly, it means the game is over already but you just don't know why or when. Resign is an option or the other is to keep playing and considering it a lecture to learn from Tal.

@SJNaka101
@SJNaka101 6 лет назад
Yeah Tal himself knew that a lot of his sacrifices were unsound, but he was playing a psychological game. He was betting on his ability to navigate unknown waters better than his opponents. It paid off a lot, but it cost him games too. I've been having a lot of fun reading "The Life and Games of Mikhail Tal". Really interesting read, even aside from the chess games themselves. Probably more so aside from the games

A Player Indeed. I don't remember the last time he asked anyone to subscribe to his channel unlike ALL the RU-vidrs. He doesn't give a flying fck about that. It's clearly evident that he's just passionate about Chess & it's awareness 😎
@delta-8384

Dr. MG M i think he did twice,but it all nothing compared to other youtuber who ask viewer to subs in EVERY SINGLE video they made ahhaha
@cptnoremac
@cptnoremac 6 лет назад
I don't think there's anything shady about asking for subscribers, but I do think it's pointless. People don't subscribe to you to do you a favor because you asked nicely. We subscribe because we want to track what you're doing. So no need to thank us, either. It's really all selfish.
@victory_jade
@victory_jade 6 лет назад
For those unaware about the significance of the time, there is a strong motivation for channels, especially smaller channels, to make their videos at least 10 minutes long. RU-vid supposedly gives the uploader more money if their video is at least 10 minutes long. I've never made money off youtube so I can't confirm that though.

It makes me so happy to see more and more people reaching out to you. I know we two(or any of us for that matter) have a very negligible chance of actually meeting in person, if ever, but your voice has actually become a daily part of my life. I really look forward to your videos after coming back from the gym; since I hardly get the time to actually play, I feel watching your well analyzed videos keep me somewhat sharp and relaxed. When you upload more than one video in a day, it becomes a treat! So, I'd like to thank you, for making my day a little bit better. I do like that you welcome discussions other than something exclusively related to chess. :)

Hannah isn't the only cat that watches your videos. I have two cats and one of them will jump up to the base of my 80" TV and try to attach the mouse pointer as you move it around. Further, whenever that damn air-backstroke dog of yours goes crazy on the couch, I can't resist watching it and then I have to watch the video a second time to see the game. Good ol' Medo.

Haven't play chess since childhood, came across on this channel, started to play against comp.at chess.com at 4th level and thanks to Agadmator's explanations of basic openins and tactics, after two months I beat 6th level yesterday. The game lasted 50 minutes also and was boring 😊...thanx Antonio for your great contribution to chess community.

Here, the human moved to get a glass of water, which seems like a nice idea, but this is actually a mistake, as it gives up the seat position to the cat. And once the cat is lodged here, it will be very difficult to remove it.
