There was another documentary about this on TV that covers the entire thing from the beginning to the end, including the trial, sentencing, etc. The part that really made me mad was at her sentencing, I think it was, where she was talking about a t-shirt she designed with all the proceeds going to domestic violence victims. I had flames coming out of my ears when I saw that because as a DV survivor myself, it felt like a punch in the throat 😡

So Travis was in a cult and used this woman for his sexual pleasures and discarded her after he felt shame and guilt. Jodi was a crazy narcissist obsessed with Travis. Recipe for disaster.

“Being better” has always caused trouble.

I feel bad for Jodi, with Travis being someone who has it together I feel he lead her on to a degree and treated her horribly. It’s not just her, he was no angel himself. And being true to his faith? He wasn’t true to his faith (like most.)

It's not weird tht she wanted to be affectionate with him with others present if they still doing it behind closed doors, having to hide your affection because you're a part of a church is what I call weird. Holy crap somethings mentioned about things she does like the clingy part reminded me of someone in highschool and its disturbing thing i also noticed from my classmate.

I met a woman a few years ago and I fell wildly in love with her right away, but I always had a feeling there was something wrong, there was something about her and her stories that were not right. She asked a lot until what I made of money and I found out that she owed more in her house than she could sell it for. She accused her ex-husband of being a psychopath and the more she told me I found out she was a narcissistic psychopath. When I confronted her with something, she had to either go out and drive or go to bed or something completely different. she did not like resistance and evidence. she did not know that I knew one of her friends in advance, which I only found out after a few months, and the friend said come away from her she is really insane. so that she would not discover that I wanted away from her I started behaving strangely, I pretended that I was morbidly jealous and that I was tooting on the phone over her etc. I contacted a friend she had and her ex-husband and told what she had said and of course she found out, just like I wanted and then she did not want anything to do with me, it was just wonderful, finally free and she thought that she had made it past i found out while i knew her that she had been her husband unfaithful through all 23 years they had known each other and her friend i knew in advance she said they in town called her the open hole
