Edmund Kemper is a very interesting case study for serial killers. When I watched the show Mindhunter, the actor who played the role of Edmund Kemper did a really good job, because seeing the real life person in interview videos, it shows that the actor did his research playing the role. I don’t think I could sit through extreme horror, but it sounds like an interesting book.

If you can handle Mindhunter (great show) you're getting closer to being able to read mystery/thriller/suspense, at least! Extreme horror isn't for most people.
