I agree! DRIVE THE CAR! My 2004 turbo cab has 91,0000 miles! I only drive in winter on clear roads these days (snow tires are impossible to find for these now) I plan on a 991 C4S cab this spring!

I’ve also seen dealers with unsold inventory…but that’s misleading. Large dealerships will hold cars for smaller locations because of space, so it’s not representative of the market. These sell fast, especially in the Spring Wills thanks for watching! 🔥🔥

What’s up Damien! 🙌 Yes, it can be an exercise in patience getting a new 911…especially the ‘Turbo S’. Here in Miami, the largest Porsche dealership (The Collection) is in a huge legal fight with Porsche… because they’re getting fewer Porsche allocations. Porsche usually gives different dealers a certain number of allocations based on the previous years sales numbers, so large Porsche dealerships will have more new Porsche’s available than smaller ones. But, A LOT more buyers have been going to those dealers for years…. sometimes decades. This means that a salesman will prioritize a buyer that has purchased there before, because salesmen also want to establish relationships with buyers (not just a one quick sale). If you’re looking for a custom build: 1) Spec out your Porsche online. 2) Send it to smaller Porsche dealerships around the US. 3) Follow up with a call & offer $2,500 immediate deposit. It takes some work, but you won’t have much competition. The best time to do this would be Winter, in locations that snow.

Most people purchasing Porsche 992’s aren’t buying them to get validated at car meet’s. Most are fulfilling a lifelong goal of owning their dream car. One thing is for sure, they’ll get cooler with age…all Porsche’s do 👊👊💯 At car meets, older classics get all the attention. I recently saw a 80’s IROC Z28 make a row of lambo’s look invisible 🫥 Too many lambos in the market? Maybe 🤔 Boeing Driver thanks for watching! 🔥🔥

The problem with these cars are their just not special anymore and they are wayyyyy overpriced. I had a 997 turbo and 964 and 964 turbo the 997 turbo was utterly boring unless you were accelerating which I felt like I was gonna go to jail every time I did that. The 964s were fun at any speed, very raw and incredibly unique. The 991 on up are just big bloated GT cars now. I feel very little difference between them and an M model bmw. And the main problem is that they are just too good. They don’t become fun until you get them up around 7/10ths and that’s not possible on our roads. I would like to have 992 for a daily driver but then it’s not an experience every time you get in it.

@b717 Some good points. In a way, it’s gotten too good….the limits are too high for the streets. But it’s not a fair comparison with the aircooled cars, that was a different era. I believe Porsche knows this, that’s why they offer the GT3’s which are harder core…even when compared to the older aircooled cars. Also remember that even the 964 was a very cushy Porsche, especially with the D90 wheels…-a total grand tourer. These 964’s just like the newer Porsche’s are transformed into scalpels for the road with just a few mods 🏎💨💨
