The reason she was immediately more warm and friendly after hearing he had a girlfriend is because she was now comfortable knowing he wasn't trying to flirt with her. Girls frequently walk on eggshells, being very careful to not be too friendly so that guys don't get the wrong idea. She's not interested now that she knows he has a girlfriend, she is now relaxing into regular kindness thinking it won't be read as flirtatious interest.

Man ant that the truth. I remember being a young 18 year old, just lost my best friend on Oct 1st 2011 stabbed to death, this day changed my entire life. My close friends dad passed away Nov 9th 2011 from cancer another very close friend Dec 14th 2011 accidentally shot himself in the head in a faulty gun accident and another close friend saw that entire incident go down. All back to back! That entire year was surreal. A few months later me and my girlfriend at the time broke up. She was with me through all the death, helped me while I was grieving throughout all of it. First love if you will. But then I met another girl, she was so beautiful but a lot older than me. Then when she walked up and immediately flirted with me like crazy, something I never experienced before. It was the most adorable moment I’ve ever experienced. I had butterflies in stomach for days after that. Her friend finally called me and said she wanted my number. It was a wrap after that we went on a that following weekend and ended up in a relationship shortly after. All my friends were trippin out that I got with this super sexy older girl lol. She was drop dead gorgeous man. Over the next several years we would be off and on. Would still hook up all the time. We used talk about getting married or if we ever ended up old alone we would come find each other. Even when I was seeing other girls I would still feel deep down that we wound end up back together. She felt the same way as well. But May 7th 2016 she would pass away as well. Just a little over a year after losing my dad on Feb 16th 2015. Sometimes it feels like I lived another life multiple times becomes life is just so different now. I know humans go through change but sheesh. I didn’t expect it to be like this.
