Molly was NOT impressed with some of the comments made by John-Michael about Madonna.
Ages ago I transferred VHS to the computer and since this is a music channel I thought I would upload the music based things on here.

I saw this when it aired and I have to say that my opinion is somewhere in between John and Molly. With regards to Cop Killer though, that song is disgusting taken at face value, but I wonder if John realized that Ice-T wrote that to complain about the murder of Rodney King by a white policeman for no obvious reason.

@poida I think you missed my point. Neither John nor Bert seemed to realize or care that Ice-T wrote Cop Killer (which John was indirectly referring to here) as a protest song. Sure it might be offensive to you and me, but the murder of black people by cops is even worse.

Molly used to surround himself with sycophants and it was only his position as music director of the Countdown program that saved him from everyone telling him he was a trumped-up wanker. Everyone thought it but just didn't say it.
