Whomever composed that guitar part hears guitar in a very familiar way for me. To me the guitar is first and foremost a deeper banjo. Freddie Green, and by extension, Jim Hall are my favs, but Nile Rogers is the coolest, imo. I would be very interested to know what guitarists or other instrumentalists have inspired the composer of this guitar part.
