The young man's actions is reason to hope and that there are ppl out there that want better and show it by their actions. @@ffemtx47 power was not off!! And he said he DID get a little shock. So he must not have gotten the full 600v of electricity. And the whole one and done with 600v comment proves you don't know much about electricity since it's not the voltage that kills you. If that was true than everybody that has every been tased would be dead considering that is 50,000 VOLTS.... Soooo yeah....there's that.... FYI it's the amperage that will kill you. You can die from 12volts of electricity if the amps are high enough

Remember the lady name felon who passed away when she dropped her cell phone on the 69th street stop redline a few years ago? And three big grown men did not even attempt to help her. The three guys could have made a human chain to pull her up. If this young man was there he would have helped pull her up on the platform. He is a real HERO!!!!!!

Notify the CTA personnel immediately if you see someone on the tracks...WHY? By the time you found one he would have been dead already. Besides you didn't see the driver or conductor attempt to do anything. Pretty sure the only thing they worried about is their check being short.
