You AIN'T lying' !!!!! He dominated every scene with a capital 'D' !!! You couldn't take your eyes off him. He was comical perfection. Should have had his own show. Great in anything he put his hand to. He is missed.
Teddy Wilson was a upstanding human being. He was the 1st person who guided me about the ins and outs of Hollywood when I moved here from Chicago in the late 80's. My brother James and I were preparing to produce a jazz album with him when Teddy suddenly passed away. Great man and I look forward to seeing him again someday when this life is over. R.I.P. brother and THANK YOU. 🙏🏽 11:11
@@square-on-wheels Yes, he sure did! He was a great human being and showed me that you can be a celebrity and still be humble and kind to strangers. He is missed down here on earth. 🙏🤝🏽
@@blasianluvschocolate397 Did he pass away?..last time O saw LENNNAY.Was on the Movie WILDCATS w/Goldie Hawn Mychelti Williamson, Wesley& Woody Harrelson
He also starred in the short-lived comedy series You Can't Take It With You with the late Harry Morgan of Dragnet and M*A*S*H Fame and Richard Sanders of WKRP in Cincinnati Fame
Yeah, Bubba Smith Was Bones In Family Matters, Bones & In He Break Them And Theodore Wilson Was In Family Matters As Carl's Boss Captain Davenport When Laura Started A Babysitting Service & All Those Kids Were Running Around The House, Acting Bad & Tying People Up. Captain Davenport Loved Kids & Playing With Them.
Theodore Wilson was a highly underrated actor that appeared and performed in movies and tv. RIP Mr. Wilson, and thank you for a lifetime of entertainment.
After showing J.J. his rings, he tells him "Boy ima give you a root-canal job with your mouth close". The Coolest Greatest Television Pimp of all time. Sweet Daddy😄🙏
Yes sir, the late great Bubba Smith He also Guest Starred as the Bad Guy in Charlie's Angels entitled "Counterfeit Angels" and Family Matters as the Bookie named Bones who was about the break Eddie in half if he didn't come up with the cash and he later joined up with Steve Urkel for a Polka Fest He even starred in the short-lived NBC Cop Comedy Half Nelson with Joe Pesci and Dick Butkus
I always tripped out on how this man will come up in these people house and always threatened JJ not on the street he'll come up in the house and they have to let him in Sweet Daddy ruled
That was a funny episode but no one can take the father's place on Good times, not even Sweet Daddy Williams 😊❤️🖤💚#I saw Mr John Amos aka James Evans, he was promoting his book and he looks good at eighty something and strong(he hugged me so I know)🥰❤️🖤💚
But Michael, you passing the bar does not afford you the legal authority to detain or arrest Sweet Daddy Williams and subsequently place him...and/or his goons behind bars. 🤷🏾♂️

Kinda crazy how many ex-NFL players were in TV shows and movies in the 70's --- Bubba Smith on a bunch of shows ---- Merlin Olsen on Little House on the Prairie --- Dick Butkus was in Longest Yard --- Fran Tarkenton was on some TV shows --- Terry Bradshaw was in Hooper --- and on and on
@@billbelzek6748 many ex NFL players went into acting. Jim Brown, Bernie Casey, Fred Williamson, Fred Dryer, Fairy uh I mean Terry Crews, and a few others I can't think of right now.
Good Times Instead Of Sanford & Son. Between The Two Shows, Good Times Was More Positive & James Was A Better Father Than Fred Sanford. Fred & Lamont's Dysfunctional Relationship & Fred & Esther, A Male & Female And Brother-n-Law & Sister-In-Law Traded Insults, They Threatened To Kill Each Other & They Threatened To Do Bodily Harm To Each Other In Every Episode And Fred Was A Trashy Father & A Flawed Human. That's What's Wrong With Sanford & Son(Plus Fred & His Old Friends Trying To Have Relationship s With Women Young Enough To Be Their Daughters & Women Half Their Age). James Friends Who Showed Up At His Funeral & Reception, Looked More Positive Than Fred's Friends. All Of Fred's Friends Were Alone, Old & Alone. None Of Them Had A Female At Their Place. Sanford & Son Didn't Have Any Good Role Models. The Entire Cast Dealt With Drugs On The Set Of The Show. They Were High All The Time During The Show's Tapings & Lawanda Page(Esther) Was Their Drug Supplier. She Said She Didn't Deal With The Heavy Stuff. She Still Dealt & Was Always High Too. What Were They Thinking.
Theodore Wilson was one of the most underrated actors in television. He was great as the dimwitted Earl Chambers on "That's My Mama", but his portrayal of Sweet Daddy Williams was nothing short of comedic genius. The character had to be intimidating, or he wouldn't be believable as a mobster. Yet if he was too intimidating, he'd have destroyed the humor of the show. How do you portray a mobster as both menacing and comical? I don't know, but Theodore Wilson certainly did it!
@@LiveINtheGood53 Keith sucked. He had a vapid personality, and who told him he could do impressions? Those impersonations of famous people he made were lousy. I always believed he was why they decided to pull the plug on this show.
@@BrotherDerrick3X True. Actually, the show done after James died. They tried to resurrect it with new characters like Penny, Carl, and Keith, but none of them really worked.
RIHP to Johnny Brown ( Bookman), Esther Rolle (Florida), Janet DuBois ( Wylonna), & Ben Powers ( Keith)🙏 Once met Ralph Carter at the Audelco Awards in NYC ( my younger cousin won an award that night; he's an actor as well)! 💘 🎥
