The entire "My wife used to fart" scene was totally improvised by Robin Williams. Matt Damon's laugh is completely real and if you watch it again you'll notice the camera shaking a bit because the cameraman was laughing as well. They had NO idea he was going to say that.

"Do you like apples?.. well I got her number, how do you like them apples!" I loved that line and bar scene. My favorite scene is when Robin Williams breaks down Matt Damon on the park bench.

Robin Williams would've turned 70 just a few days ago 💛 although he was suffering in silence, he was such a bright light, and is still so missed. I know that for me personally, I thought the news of his death was a hoax. I was a teen at the time and cried for about a week. Highly recommend Patch Adams and Dead Poets Society

I like Gerald Lambeau, everyone seems to think you have to dislike Lambeau in order to root for Will and Sean. When really, both Lambeau and Sean wanted Will to have a good life and be happy. Without Lambeau, Will would still be sitting in prison, Sean would still be grieving and Will's friends would be devastated. Or maybe I just like him because Stellan Skarsgård was a *boss* in Chernobyl

Damon and Affleck both won Oscars for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting. Robin Williams,Juilliard grad,won his only Oscar for this role.

We were talking about it on the live chat, but I'll put my recommendation again on here Bicentennial Man another beautifully written film with Robin Williams, definitely a reaction worthy film... Without spoilers, its a testament of the human condition and the will to live and love, as well as a statement about what it really means to be human

Don't know if anyone has said it yet but. The fart conversation was all Robin. You can see Matt cracking up for real and the camera gets shaky from the camera man laughing.
