Can't believe it. I'm just finding out about this after thinking I haven't seen a video from him in a while and figured RU-vid was up to their shenanigans again. Really depressing news. I didn't know him really but I did have some interaction with the guy and let me tell you this. I was planning to launch a 24/7 streaming channel that would basically syndicate episodes of RU-vid series. It never came about because not enough shows were locked in to really make it make sense, not that it made sense anyway but Emer was one of the people I reached out to as I watched Reaction and Review for a while and wanted to syndicate episodes of it. And you know what? He was one of the few who actually agreed to let his show be a part of the cancelled project. Now here I am, some bozo and he's like hell yeah syndicate R&R for your thing. What a beautiful soul. The man had one hell of a work ethic too. Over 1,000 episodes of Reaction and Review. That's insane. R.I.P. Emer Prevost. I will watch your videos until it's my time to go.

That's sad, and speaking of sad news, I've heard that Glen Campbell has died too. For those of you who don't know, Glen Campbell was a country singer back in the 1960's and 1970's with such hits as "Gentle On My Mind", "By The Time I Get To Phoenix", "Wichita Lineman", "Galveston", "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Southern Nights" and many other hits. Both Emer Prevost (aka "Hellsing920") and Glen Campbell has died this week.

I actually talked to hellsing one day back and forth in RU-vid messages. Back when those still existed, and he seemed like an okay dude. We talked about RoH and his epic rants. I know a lot of people didn’t like him but I thought he was an okay dude. Alog are you familiar with a guy named Asaleiri? I dunno if I’m spelling that right.

I’m not gonna lie... While I don’t rip on the dead, at the same time it’s hard for me to say R.I.P. to Emer Prevost. And that’s because in the past, I had a feud with him in the comments section of a now lost video. What we argued about was his weak & draconian views on copyright issues. The argument went nowhere, but when I brought up AVGN’s TMNT 3 movie review, he said: “James Rolfe’s review falls into the same category. Too much of the plot was given away, so he too was guilty of copyright violation.” It blew my mind (& still does) as to how someone who got suspended twice by bogus DMCAs would become a copyright Nazi. I later learned that Emer was pulling the same copyright B.S. on the RU-vid commentary community. It’s okay not to like them, but preaching anti-free speech garbage was rock bottom rotten & I don’t take kindly to that. I’m sorry if I sounded a little too negative. I’m really not trying to encourage ripping on the dead, but Emer’s self righteous behavior makes it so difficult. I wish he saw the error of his ways.
