..no....thank you! I've had so much pleasure watching your videos season to season, seeing the beauty you've helped to create. Its almost meditative for me to watch. You are very, very blessed to have such a space grow around you.
@@wherzmaslipperz3111 I am so glad! Becoming a horticultural therapist was my desire, now I use this platform to help not only myself, but hopefully many other to be healthy through nature.
Thank you my Irish garden friend! By the way, my half Chinese son has one quarter of Irish blood in him from his grandmother 😊❤️ someday I’ll visit there!
My first impression was the color. Miscanthus seed head has very big contract to the background. This whiteness is so soft. It has different feeling than white flowers. Not sure whether you are familiar with (or have) stipa tenuissima grasses? It's lower than miscanthus and the seed head is also beautiful. The garden also has a great view of sunset/sunrise, by plant leaves. I will try to copy the same idea in my small garden.
Thank you for mentioned about the tenuissima grass! I never see any nurseries selling them, but I spotted them at Lowe’s parking lot, so I went to the property management asked, no success yet to dig some for my garden 😃 The movement of miscanthus grasses are my dancing fairies in the fall, they made me appreciate cold windy days. Yes I purposely plant them in areas with sunlight from east to west without any other plants blocking them, so they look magical! For planting in details, you are my teacher!
"花園也好比人生,有快樂的時光,也有許多的挑戰". I think your audience are also curious to see the challenges. That will be more complete. To see a big tree down, it's gonna be a fixed feeling.
I’ve never own a dog or a horse, but I guess I can feel the pain of putting the love ones down…😢 in 2022&2023, I’ve lost a dogwood, a silver birch, a weeping cherry blossom and this black walnut, they ware all here for decades.
Good morning Mr. Shi! For all my weeping Japanese maple trees, once in a while especially early spring, I’ll go underneath and take out the dead branches, that’s all. They just naturally form their beautiful shapes by them self, how wonderful! Have a happy Thanksgiving 🦃!
You are my master! A lot to learn from you and your garden! Wow, tenuissima is a beautiful grass. Worth every effort to get one. But I guess it's not hardy enough (or there is a risk) for zone 5. Maybe that's the reason no one wants to sell it. I just finished raking leaves in my garden. I'm wondering how you handle your leaves?
I believe you are like me and many other gardeners out there, discovered our creativities through gardening, nature is our master! Leaves in my yard are constantly falling endlessly, then follow by the neighbor’s oak leaves, continue little by little all to spring😨. Besides raking, I have no other choice but use blower too ( I try to limit machine method), good thing that we have enough space to compose leaves and branches, so I have endless supplies😊 How I wish I have 10+ acres😃
