Fuck man.... Why can't we just go back to 2013 when Sly and Seamus and Sp00n were still around and the Creatures still did movie trips and game nights? Simpler times... Sometimes I wish they stood just as a group of friends playing games over Skype...

i will really miss seamus... he was the person who introduced me to the creatures.... its sad how seamus, one of the creatures who stayed and made the creatures an actual company leave the home that he helped built.... i respect your decsision fir leaving the creatures... its just really hard for me to accept it..... Seamus you will be forever missed.

I'm actually getting emotional right now. I just watched his explanation video, and I didn't even react to that. But this video really got to me. It reminds me of when Sly left. I know Seamus will still upload on his own channel, at whatever pace he needs or wants to, but it still feel like he's gone. He was a big part of the group and now they don't even have that.

I miss the old days

Man, I'm just clicking on random videos and reminiscing. These guys used to play such a huge role in my life. It's weird to go a day without watching them. However, I just want to say thank you. I really appreciate it. It's unfortunate that it had to end like this, but I'm extremely grateful for everything prior to it.

2016 is really looking to be starting off pretty bad.

I remember crying watching this when it first came out. Crazy how big of an impact someone you've never met can have on you.

Three years ago, Ragequit from roosterteeth led me to happy wheels, and happywheels led me to Nova. Nova led me to the creatures, who had been James, Sly, Ze, Sp00n, Koots, Dan, and Gassy, right after Chilled and Junk left. I got to say hi to Kevin and Aleks. Three years, I watched the creatures go from a group of insane friends to a group of professional coworkers. Now I go back and watch the old treehouse and instead of nostalgia, I realize that it's gone. We won't see Sly messing with Nova, as Seamus builds his mushroom house. Ze's recording the derp crew with Chilled, Sp00n's off... being Sp00n. Sly's gone solo, Kevin's gone solo, Gassy's gone solo, and now Seamus. There's not much of my old friends left. I guess... we all have to grow up sometime, don't we? We all outgrow old friends, old games, old towns. Old leaves turn into fresh soil for new trees. I think it's time I did too. Bye, creaturecats. It's been an awesome three years.

As someone who's been with the Creature's since the start, it feels like a lot of the fun has disappeared. All the creatures are doing nothing but solo content on their channel now, and the only time we get to see them together is on the hub. A hub which barely uploads gameplay videos and instead mostly features skits or outings, which are largely hit and miss. I get it, they're a business. But the hub absorbs so much effort that it's simply nowhere near as entertaining. Aleks himself has expressed his losing interest as the effort required isn't creatively filling and it's no surprise. The hub is constantly putting out stuff and to be honest I'm not interested in half of it. "The Hub" just repeats itself, Toy Chest isn't very interesting, and half of their skits and random videos are very hit and miss. The best Hub videos for me are Secret Santa, any gameplay where all the gang are together, and Creature Talk. The common ground between all of them is that they're allowed to interact with eachother for an extended period. Solo content just doesn't do that. If the Hub was able to step down a little, lower the rate of content output, and leave some space for the Creature's to actually make some organic videos where you have time to enjoy them. I physically can't enjoy a video where two grown men act like children with a bunch of European sweets, throwing them at Jordan and the camera.

What makes it even more sad is that Aleks said in his last update video that he's been considering leaving too.

Fuck this hurts. So fucking much. Just as much as when Sly left, maybe even more. It actually took me a few days to watch this video, because I didn't want to believe that it actually happened. Seamus was hands down my favorite Creature. I respect his decision, and I'll continue to be subscribed to him, but The Creatures have lost something huge now that he's gone.

Yes they had good intentions but it seemed like when they were just a bunch of friends in a house (and before the creature houses #1 and #2) that their content was more genuine and original? In these times it seems like they focused to much on making it a professional business when they either weren't ready to or just weren't the type of people to run a business

Almost 3 weeks after, watching this for the 8th time, still manages to make me cry. GODDAMMIT DIS HURTS

This is further proof that the Creatures have really created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Seamus needed time to himself, and to do that he felt like he needed to leave the Creatures. Which pretty much shows that the Creatures are asking for too much and acting way too much like a business, if he felt the need to just separate entirely to be able to focus on himself. Same with Sly. Sly wanted to be with his family, which meant he couldnt work with the Creatures. Same reason they kicked Gassy. Kevin left because he felt awkward with the group, likely because there was alot of pressures and responsibilities he didnt expect being a Creature. Aleks took a break and is having internal conflicts with the Creatures. Again, the Creatures showing they are hard to be a part of. This all goes back to Chilled. He left because he didnt like the direction of making this a business. It seems he was right. If the Creatures just stayed as a group of friends who played games together and talked over Skype, we would still have Seamus, Sly, Gassy, Sp00n, Ze, and maybe even Chilled and Kevin. Nobody would have responsibilities. It would just be a group of friends who record together. Having everyone in one place and making skits and such is/was great, but was it really worth it?

i remember when i found out about the creatures, i was so addicticted (in a good way) to their content and i loved everyones way of being, i cant believe its just jordan and dan from the original group, i mean stef artist joe and spencer are cool but its really heart breaking how disbanded the creatures have become

It's April 5th, 2017 - The feels man, Seamus came back (on his channel), and is gone again. Maybe it's weird, but Seamus is literally the ONLY RU-vidr I will randomly be like "I wonder if he put anything out recently." even though I'm subscribed and already know that answer... Honestly, when my brother and then mom died, his videos and commentary kept me sane during some very very dark months of isolation, drinking, and crushing depression. Still struggle, but am sober and have a life where I'm moving forward in a positive direction. This is going to sound stupid but, without those Darksouls videos heh, amongst others, I'm not sure I would have had anything to focus on and keep me out of the dark. I hope Seamus is doing well.

I'm not even subbed anymore but it's sad to see him gone. He was always one of my favorites when I still watched and I hope things work out well for him!

Wow these comments are shit. I was expecting support for Seamus as he works through his problems but people are just worried about their entertainment content being ruined. I was hoping for support for him like when Ray left roosterteeth. Think about Seamus for a second and how hard this decision could've been for him

From the way he said it in his update video it sounds like this might possibly be a temporary thing, and that he might rejoin sometime down the road. Either way I fucking love him so I wish him the best no matter what he does.

Goddamn it, I'll miss Seamus. I liked James and Aleks more but Seamus' comedy was always a cut above anybody else's. I'd really like to see you guys step it up after this, for 2016. Because I was watching a CT from a year ago and caught you guys saying your goal for 2015 was 'regulated content' and you really can't say you achieved that with Creaturetopia, Sarcasm, Game Nights, King, Candy Corner, etc. This year you've almost abandoned gaming content, two creatures have been AWOL for extended periods of time, hub has become a bi-weekly segment (which I supported but I expected all your other content to be more regular). I love you guys, you're the only thing that's kept me from quitting my fucked up existence in all honesty, but I think you really need to create more content, equal parts gaming and random videos, and on a consistent schedule. I know you guys listen to comments since you went back on the whole Secret Santa backlash and this isn't mindless complaining, it's just advice. I really hope one of you reads this. *EDIT* Wanted to add on that this doesn't mean I think 2015 sucked, it was actually really really awesome.

I think if James ever quits, 40 percent of the fans are going to quit as well lol.

This video still makes me cry 😢 Seamus helped me so much with my depression in my younger years. He helped me through a lot of abuse from my stepdad and gave me a reason to keep fighting. I won't forget how his outlook on life helped me see the world differently and that it wasn't all awful and worth nothing. The sarcasm made me realize that nothing is all that serious and that I should just enjoy life. I know this is very sappy and sentimental but he meant a lot to me. Thanks for all the great memories Seamus, I'll never forget you man.

Man anybody else remember when they played Gears of War 3 co-op? And good lord don't even get me started on Left 4 Dead! Dead Island, Dead Rising, Minecraft, James and Spoon when they played Saints Row 3. Those....those were the golden days of the creatures.

In all honesty I haven't paid much attention to the Creatures for what feels like 1 or 2 years now, but seeing all those clips in this video brought back so many good memories... I didn't expect to shed a few tears. Thanks Seamus for everything, and I hope you get well enough to start producing your own content again soon.

No sp00n, no sly, no chilled, no ze, no gassy, it's starting to really get scary. Like honestly I'm not trying to bash the other guys, but I just feel aleks and James can't hold the viewers by themselves.

God damn it. No. All the years, all the laughs, everything. It leaves with Seamus. He was the reason I found The Creatures. The reason I made a youtube account at all was to subscribe to him. God damn it. This was the last thing I ever wanted to see. I want to say I'll miss him but I just can't accept the fact that he's gone from the group. He had the mist brilliant sense of humor out of anyone, and his sarcasm always put a smile on my face, even through the bad times in my life. I know people are saying he's been gone for so long anyways, but it just won't be the same without Seamus. We all had that hope that he would make his return, and now that hope is gone. This truly was the worst year for this group, no matter how much they still made me laugh, and this just tops it all off. I will continue to watch all of these videos, but it just won't be the same.

Seamus has always been and will always be my favorite creature. His brand of humour was right up my alley and after he left is when I truly believed the creatures were going to fall apart. And so they did....

Have a good one seamus and the creatures and i will not ever stop watching your channels as long as they exist. I come back to this vid every week to remember all the good times as a teenager as i am 21 now. Especially on bad days, everyone have a good one, no matter what life has bads and goods but you can never change the past but you can, make your future.

To be honest, I am shocked that Seamus has left the creatures but I do understand and respect his decision. For Seamus, my favorite former-creature, is one of the reasons I play video games. He has shaped my personality. I use sarcasm all the time and I feel Seamus is responsible for that. I remember those days when I would go on RU-vid and watch his videos not for help in video games but for fun. If any of the creatures are reading this please tell Seamus he has shaped my personality and deserves the best of wishes on moving with his career.
