If I'm correct, this is your first season as a full-time streamer. Just want to commend you on doing an excellent job. Your videos are top notch.

A non-build highlight for thr season: your friendship with Gem! Shes become your bloodthirsty little sister!

I know alot of hermits want to focus more on interaction with other hermits, so im really looking forward to all the shenanigans, and conversations that are going to take place, even if it means the hermits not focusing on doing crazy builds/ mega bases as much. I think the hermits deserve a bit of a break after a 2 year season, and not stress about 1 upping themselves, so i think a more playful season and a less grind orientated season will be fun for the hermits and us. Keep up the amazing work to you and the rest of the hermits! looking forward to season 10!

I feel like this was a weird closing of a chapter for me. Hermitcraft got me through long nights of studying and homework and I just graduated this last weekend which is around the time that this season ended. Take your needed break and I can't wait to see what you accomplish in the next season!

I'd forgotten just how fun that King Ren stuff was. Ren as the king with Bdubs as his panicky and comical advisor (or advijer lol) was so perfect, as exemplified in his "Bdouble0 how could this happen" and Bdubs' "I-I-I THOUGHT IT WAS ALL FUN AND GAMES-" you can hear in your clip

The trio base you three have built is one of best areas I’ve ever seen. It all just works so well together. Huge congrats to you all! Enjoy your Christmas, see you have here for season 10!

I heard in Tango's final episode that he's planning on building some farms with you next season. So, I'm looking forward to seeing more Impulse and Tango collabs since he's been in the dungeon for the past year.

Season 9 was the first Season I watched Impulse all the way through and man, has it been fun.

So many good moments and memories this season! You've covered a lot of the highlights for me in this jaunt down memory lane, but the "behind you GEM!" Will live rent free in my heart for the rest of my days. Great run impulse!

Maybe a new Imp and Skizz adventure before the next season starts?! This season was phenomenal! So many cool events and adventures! Can't wait to see what's next!!

What i love most about Hermitcraft is interaction between Hermits. I think that's often where the magic lies. Unscripted banter between mates. So some of my favourite things this season were the Soup Group Adventures, TGC, the Easter egg hunt, diamond tower build battles, painting over the Perimeter, False's ice boat and elytra course, Ren and Etho's grand prix, Total Chaos, Decked Out waiting room chat, the party in the King's Most Private of Areas... I liked the Zed included nearly everyone in his Zedvancements. I love Stress and Iskall energy. Keralis and xB weirdness. When Tango and you get together for a project. When anyone gets together for a project. Hermits Helping Hermits. Be friends. Continue to be friends. Don't stretch yourself too hard and too thin trying to make something massive if the project burns you out. Enjoy the journey. See you next season :)

I think my favorite was the party in the Kings Chamber. Especially when Ren got there and everyone scattered punctuated by Grian blowing his SURPRISE horn. 😂

I love how you can tell he’s learned from the other hermits like scars terraforming and bdubs interiors

Honestly my favorite stuff is when there was a group of hermits/empires together. Every time there got to be 3 or more of you guys around each other the fun never stopped regardless of what was actually happening in screen, "behind you Gem!! Geeez." And I could also tell you guys not only enjoyed those episodes as well, but it also seemed like you guys were able to craft mini storylines and get ideas and different perspectives on similar tasks. Going on season 10 with as many Hermits we have now its gotta feel like some of your building styles or plans my seem "stale" for you when looking at your own builds but then you hang out with another Hermit or 2 and your like, "wow I would have never thought of that style or color pallet ect ect." No matter what every one involved with season 9 did outstanding! Enjoy the break you deserve it all!! And totally looking forward to see what little easter eggs that have been dropped come through in season 10.

So many good memories! The empires crossover still got a special place in my heart. The king storyline was awesome! And I loved the dwarf ambiance!

I think I speak for everyone when I say that one of the biggest things we're going to miss is the beautiful beard.

You can't talk about the Soup Group without mentioning "Behind You Gem!" And of course, we should all always remember Season 9 as the season we lost a beloved friend. Rest In Peace, TinFoilChef...

The crossover events with Empires people was by far the best thing I've seen, and such a wonderful surprise! I LOVED when y'all got into it and all tried out some rp even. I look forward to seeing some build-offs like in Season 7 or 8.

Season 9 was amazing in so many ways. The most fun episodes were those with friends ❤ and the support and shenanigans that ensued. From collaborative Mansion raiding 😂, through building mega resource farms 💀😳, to hanging out in the Decked Out II hall, or playing Clocktower or TCG, the chit chat, jokes and shenanigans were golden. In my opinion🤷‍♀️, mega builds make fine backdrops, but cut one off from collabs seriously. I would like to see all the mega farms built in collab style, so no one person needs to collect mega resources for a project. When peeps gathered to help with the guardian farm it was so much fun! You and Tango with the nether skelly farm were hilarious, but productive! Cub is excellent at keeping in touch with peeps. So is Scar…watch out for Hot Guy😂. More, please? The pandemic magnified the need for all of the Hermits’ talents, but that need has always existed, and continues to exist. People can be isolated for any number of reasons, and a bit of fun to watch gives a reprieve, emotionally. Thank you for that.❤ Have a wonderful holiday season!

The mass-flee from the Xisuma Crastle Party was definitely one of the most memorable moments from this season for me. It was perfectly arranged and I often think back to it with a smile. Especially when Grian used his 'Surprise!' horn. 😂

I loved building IBUY on the patreon server with the others that it was built with! We all added pieces of our own personalities inside i cant tell you enough how honored i felt when it was chosen as the winning build. Thank you impulse for making my year and life with choosing our build! Means the world to me and im sure the others feel the same as well❤️ good luck on the new server for season 10 cant wait to see how it all goes 🎉

There were so many great moments from Season 9, but I think my favourite, and it might be partially because it was so him, and partially because he's no longer with us, but TFC getting his in game chat working, then just doing his video, while in the background of Wels and Joe's videos at the start of the season was so absolutely hilarious to me. He will be forever missed.

Man, these retrospectives hitting different; seeing what each Hermit picks for their highlights. This season was SO ambitious for you - so many massive projects thoroughly accomplished! I still think the iBuy building itself is one of the coolest builds on the server; the amount of gilded blackstone for that thing still boggles the mind. I hope you enjoy the break and the rest; you've earned it!

Great season Impulse! You guys creating bases together is by far my favorite. The interaction of the soup group, including the small things like overthrowing the king. When the upper sword was added, it was so impressive to see things developing. I really want Season 10 to be more of the close knit base building. Thanks for it all!

the best part about hermitcraft for me is hanging with hermits and doing collabs. i love the individual builds but it would be absolutely insane to see what you all could do together as side projects

what I loved about season 9 was all the fun with the other hermits and all of the collaboration. it's lovely to see hermits working together to make someone's vision come to life! whether it was helping with redstone in Scarland, building paths to connect you and Gem's bases, working with Tango on some massive farms, reaching out to Cleo for help with armor stand decor, or renting out space in iBuy to Xisuma and Gem, it was so heartwarming!! all the hermits are so talented and it's very fun to see those specialties meld together. it's also just fun to see everyone interact and have a good time with all the mini games. deffo sparks a lot of joy! very much looking forward to season 10 (:

It'll be weird seeing Impulse on Hermitcraft with a beardless face again, not gonna lie. I loved so many of the builds from everyone this season. It felt like a lot of people who aren't typically known for builds really flexed their creative muscles, got out of their comfort zones, and made some absolutely stunning work. The collaboration was also so much fun to see, both between Hermits and including the Empires crew.

As someone who found Hermitcraft a few weeks in to S1 (the second Season 1 😉 ) I can say that unequivocally S9 has been the best season of Hermitcraft so far.

Been around since Season 2, still remember when you joined the server 🤓 these season finales are always bittersweet, wishing it could go on a little longer so you and the other Hermits can finish up your current projects, but understanding that every season inevitably ends with things unfinished 🤷‍♂ looking forward to getting the world download and finishing things in my own way, though it'll have to be in creative since I don't have much time for playing 😔 this was the best season yet, somehow topping season 7 when I never imagined that possible 🤯 so excited for season 10!

I loved the diamond race, the Soup group cohesion, the Motherboard idea, Decked Out 2, the Crossover event was a total blast... But the best part was to see all the hermits having lots of fun together, be it deciding things, participating in games, or simply hanging out with and supporting each other. What you guys did with Grian was necessary for him to beat his procrastination, and it kicked off one of the most hilarious events I have ever witnessed: the poppy/goat battle. Have fun during your holidays, and I hope to see you all well and back in season 10.

It's the vibe of the whole season that makes Hermitcraft amazing! The builds, the shenanigans, the interactions, mega farms and a lot of inspiration. TYSM. 🍀✨

I really appreciate you including so many good moments throughout the season in this video. I'm gonna miss season 9 as it's very sentimental for me and it included so many amazing things i'm gonna remember for a long time, but i'm also excited to see what the next season will bring

As for what I am looking forward to next season, I am looking forward to what this trio you have become a part of comes up with next time, now that you have said (as I recall from Gem's vid) that you will group again next season. As far as the mega builds go, I am reminded of why I like seeing the campy Batman show up every few iterations (hear me out). Writers keep trying to one up each other in dark story telling, until the hit a wall or celling that can't be forced through without harming the character of Batman, then campy Batman (Adam West, Brave and the Bold) comes along and reset things. At this point not just you, but every hermit has pushed mega builds to insane heights. And it seems like you are all ready to take a step back from that, and that's fine. Do it, build fun builds you love doing, don't worry over the scale, and we will all be here to enjoy the show everyone puts on. Happy Holidays and best of luck next season, hope we all have a blast!

Season 9 was my first intro to Hermitcraft. I'd heard of Hermitcr5aft before, but I'd simply thought of it as just a server, not that it was being shown/shared/streamed. It wasn't until recently I managed to start watching the episodes full time. This season I learned a lot from all the Hermits. I even recreated Impulse's villager town hall on the server I currently play on (with a few tweaks & modifications to fit). It was my first ever large redstone creation I made and the books I get from trading are quite popular with the players there :) Thank you for all you Hermits have done, and I look forward to seeing what new things you will do in the next season!

Seeing the soup group bond in the mansion would be a favorite. Bdubs tricking Impulse with the darestick. The first day of 1.20 livestream. The collab stories with ren the king followed by empires.

I would like to have more content about Hermits just haging out and having fun. Like Megabases/Megabuildings are great and is a project to work alone but the laughts when they are together just being there ... those moments are great. So I will probably say less blocks more interactions. I just wanna see you having fun.

Really happy to hear that the hermits are planning on more colabs/interaction next season as that's my favorite part of this server! I love all the amazing builds, but the pure joy that comes from the insanity you guys get up together is what I'm here for :) This season totally confirmed that with the Empires crossover, TCG and Decked Out2. SO many awesome moments!!

Also, Your dwarven castle, industrial build motherboard, and I buy were insane. (awesome, good grief, Doc level stuff) Maybe next year y'all will have a couple of new hermits to add? There's already too many of y'all for me to watch all of them, but the interactions y'all have together with your different personalities just helps make Hermit land so different from other places. Even when you all have wars, incidents, and topple tyranny, it is a friendly, happy place to visit. (it's also like mentoring the next generation how to be kind)

The soup group and making farms with Tango was my favorite, next season i would love to see you and tango teams up to become the kings of the shopping district, making a farm to sell everything you can, you could call your industrial area "Impulsive technology" and rule the shopping lands like kings.

I’ve been coming around since Season 6, when Grian joined after EVO. It’s so cool to be watching all these years even tho I have zero interest playing MC. It’s been a great two years watching you guys on the server, I look forward to Season X!

season 9 is probably one of my favs again just from the amount of COMMUNITY that defined this season!! i loved watching your vids impulse and ibuy was incredibly impressive as a build and a concept like wow he rly just built the first megamall !!!! HERES TO SEASON X (isuma)!!!!!!!!

What a great season! Your dwarves base really turned out well. One of my favorite Impulse moments was when you educated Gem about the music of our generation. Every time someone gets the Iron-Pick advancement in my Minecraft world, I want to start singing "It's like RAAAAAAAAIN..." It was also great having some guests on the server like Skizz for Decked Out and Martyn for the charity stream. The Soup Group was great and I hope you find another cool group to team up with in Season 10.

Amazing season Impulse. Favorite parts of the season; Everything with collaboration, you guys are the best when you are working together. Diamond wars, King Ren storyline, the charity steam, empires, soup group shenanigans. Really was amazing. My hope for season 10? Another new season long collab like Boatem or Soup Group.

More bonding between Hermits like the Soup Group is what I would love to see. It creates more fun content and more life. Shenanigans are also always welcome!

The shenanigans and interactions were the best part for sure. I like the slow development of those big bases, but found it's much healthier for your sanity if you take a medium sized project for S10 and expand on that giving the opportunity. That leaves you without extra pressure to finish another bite off more than you can chew project. I would love to see you basing together with another Hermit that compliments your playstyle. So you can collaborate on things. Could be Gem, Pearl or even Mumbo. Likewise Bdubs or Grian would be a good fit. Especially the pairing of you and Grian is totally underrated! But even Cleo or Etho would be great choices!

Impulse, your building skills were off the chart this season. I wish someone has put up a small memorial to TFC in town. They DO say, absence makes the heart grow fonder; but alas, that is not always the case. RIP, TFC, can't wait for Hermitcraft 10 to start. I love you Impulse, know that I am channeling Skizz right now, LOL.

Man the KingRenTheDog stuff was so long ago! I decided to watch every hermits episodes for this season and am finally catching up. The soup group builds were some of my favorite bases. Decked out was insane, the Empires crossover was awesome, and secret life was a fun take on the life series! Can't wait to see season 10!

Watching this video while actually touring your creations on the world download is surreal. I don’t know what words to use to convey my amazement at what you’ve accomplished this season, and seeing it up close and personal I can literally feel the passion and the heart in all of your projects, from the scale of your farms and builds to the intricate thought out details - you are a tremendously hard worker. Thank you for your creativity and dedication, and congratulations on an amazing season 9.

When season 9 started, my mental health was not doing well, I wasn’t working yet, and the day this season started was the same day I got my job I still have now. That day was so important to me. I watched every single perspective and I still laugh every time I think of how many times scar died of day 1. Impulses genius diamond making. The mansion raid! Beefers starting tcg as soon as he could !! I just loved season 9, I hope the hermitcraft members know how much they mean to each one of us fans . You all make us so happy and inspired to continue on from every upload. :)

Like Grian was saying, would LOVE to see more conjoined base building in the new season. I think being so close to one another pushed each of you to continue to outdo yourselves, creating the most complete, immersive environment on the server, outside of Scarland. It might be cool to see A Scarland 2... a ScarWorld? with more than one hermit building sections of the park.

def one of my fav hermits to follow this season, loved that u continued the neighborhood concept from season 8, ensured a decent amount of interaction with other hermits on the regular which is the strength of a smp. more importantly, im really proud of how u progressed as a builder this season. cant wait for season 10 and what fun shenanigans it will bring.

As someone who started watching in the later half of the season and became a big fan of Impulse, Gem and Pearl, I've really enjoyed watching this video as its been kinda like a little origin story of the amazing bases and friendships Ive come to adore

This was the first time I really watched Hermitcraft. I started with Gemini but then made it to yours. Your redstone was so inspiring and I'm really into it. I'm a 40 year old man with 7 and 9 year old daughters that love watching minecraft. I appreciate that the hermits are all safe for work and I can be confident the content you and the other hermits make is appropriate. I'll definitely be watching Season 10. Thanks Impulse!

I started watching Hermitcraft near the end of Season 7. Thanks to the HCBBS I was introduced to Scar from Mumbo. And I was also introduced to Grian through Mumbo. So at the start of Season 8 I was watching 3 Hermits. By the end of Season 8 I was watching 7 Hermits. Thanks mostly to the Hermitcraft Recap. Now, by the end of Season 9 I am watching 18 different Hermits. Including you. And I’m so glad I started watching you. Listening to the Imp & Skizz Podcast. Catching your streams. Cheering for you in MCC. This is the season where I really dived into the Hermitcraft fandom. And for that, it is one I will always cherish.

I would love to see all the redstone hermits make the ultimate redstone contraption, and all the builders do an epic build together

You are one of my favorite folks to watch... You have such an eye for design! From the decorations on iBuy's building to the amazing interior of your mega base with its giant sword and that "splash of gold" on the floor. But even more, I love watching someone who is obviously a good-hearted, kind person spending time with friends, and what comes from that organically, which is why I also love your podcast! Have a great break!

Season 9 combined many of the best aspects of Seasons 6,7 & 8 To discuss some of the things mentioned in the stream, A lot of the 'cringe' RP was toned down, while there were still storylines, they felt more organic, less forced, and hermits felt less awkward in those moments, that's not to say that there weren't still awkward / cringe moments, but compared to Season 8 where storylines were pushed too hard and you could tell that there were Hermits that were really out of their comfort zone. For example, while your character was a dwarf the difference in Season 9 was that it was part of the visual identity, opposed to trying to awkwardly role play a character, and as a viewer it felt like you enjoyed this season more. One of the positives from Season 8 that was brought over to Season 9 was that the Soup Group felt like the new Boatem Hermitcraft has always benefited the most by having other hermits base in close proximity with each other, that was the best part of Season 4 and Season 8, so having the Soup Group base so close allowed for those interactions to happen more, and Season 9 seemed to have a lot more interactions between Hermits as a whole, not quite on the same level as Season 8, but just seeing you all interact on the livestreams was just the best, and as Tango said, the best part of Decked out was the area in front of the main door because that's where so many Hermits would hang out and just interact with each other and have fun. When the Hermits have fun, we the audience have fun. And Mega Builds, while they are impressive, as you admitted, and you said that the other Hermits are starting to realise, Mega Builds aren't what drives and keeps the engagement, they often look great, but they are just blocks, it's the smaller things that keep people engaged. While I may remember the mega bases from the different seasons, I'm not going to go back and watch an episode just to see you build a particular aspect of it (unless I'm seeking inspiration or after some specific build tricks) But what keeps me watching are the fun moments with you and the others, I will remember the "But.. the.. Behind you Gem!" after Gem almost gets Creepered for the umpteenth time, I will remember the "Gem will watch Impulse build" and I will remember the verticality issue. But to bring it back to the 'mega build' you all accomplish something so much more amazing together than alone, the Soup Group area is effectively one massive mega build with how it blends in and links up, it reminded me of how Keralis and Cleo created an amazing megabase by the end of Season 7 by choosing to work together rather than just switch back after the HCBBS Honestly, what I hope for in Season 10 is for people to be based close together again, for more combined projects

This season means a lot to me and Im so happy I was able to come along through this season. This will hold a special place in my heart for a long time. The season has given me so many good memories that I will cherish. Thank you Impulse

honestly I'm looking forward to the slow start, it's always so much fun seeing everyone in early game Minecraft State and how the littlest things can snow ball hugely like how the soup group started because you all needed food and pearl suggested mushroom soup
