TSM could import the entire JDG roster and still perform poorly in NA. Something about the NA environment, server, ect is a debuff to players. NA LoL is doomed

It comes down to the coaches on the teams. Any player has weaknesses but it’s up to you as a coach to fix them. Coaching can decide a players career whether they become a star or fall short in my opinion I don’t think regi has what it takes

When LCS-Riot moved games to weekdays and to the middle of the day, it was a big blow to fans and the orgs; so honestly, I don't blame TSM at this point. Riot-NA has focused on Valorant, which is a mistake in the long run in my opinion and an example of a series of bad decision they have made over the past 4 years.

Oddly enough, this was something that was a huge argument between chaox and regi back in the day, China and korea were starting to rolfstomp NA and EU but we were too stubborn to realize it.

Ive followed TSM since the wildturtle days and in my opinion Regi is an example of how an Ego can be inflated due to early success than falling into the shadow of newer better teams. Success can be a mans downfall just like beauty can be a women's curse.

4 years ago, I stated that TSM went from the top of NA to one of the dead bottom rocks in LoL. Fast foward, now they're really a dead bottom rock in NA lmao.

This is the right move if TSM wants to win international League. The game is just on another level in terms of culture grassroots interest and player skill level in China and Korea

Maybe i´m wrong but isent there always supposed to be a specific number of teams in any league so if TSM wanna move to another region then wouldent they need to buy a spot from 1 of the other teams and thats assuming they are even intrested in selling there league spot.

You briefly mentioned CLG playing in korea during 2012. Fun fact, TSM opted not to go on that trip and it haunted them for years to come, you might even be able to argue that this is an early root of NA's failure on the international stage.

It's not just league, competitive gaming in NA has been circling the drain for a while now. CS:GO is another great example among many...

NA is not a good region it not longer produce content as it use to , the lcs is dying and if you trying to win internationally you dont put your hopes in NA maybe EU if you like copium

i think results based analyst on events like worlds and msi is pretty wack. each region gets stronger over time as they play the game. Its the same thing that happens in China and Korea where players/teams get stronger, as well as the lec with teams like BDS, Astralis and KOI who were considered weak before this year, and older teams like MAD and G2 had to evolve. Same thing happened in NA with GG and FLY where they got stronger which forced C9, TL, EG and 100T to adapt. Players always have to keep improving in the game, so saying that the teams were ass at worlds last year just means that the other regions who knocked them out were better than last year.

I just think that they’ll be the same thing in a different region. TSM have had teams in other regions in the past in other games (CS:GO in Denmark) so I as a non-League viewer will just see it as TSM still but at a new place

LCS isn't profitable and until people found out about reggi basically being a bully - Blatantly spent the most money on LCS - Esports as a whole has been sort of held hostage by people wanting to shift millions of dollars around mainly centered in hype. TSM is prominent in damn near every esport or have fielded a team in popular game - It's extremely shit for people to just say "Boooo mean CEO >:C " after homie attempted to create new revenue streams, build structure - and is apart of legitimizing esports - If tsm was so fucked - riot wouldn't have let them into the league anyway. Clearly reputation has nothing to do with being in the LCS (Hence why the greenwall managed to not get accepted into valorant) and It has more to do with things from a financial and business perspective - I think this is more of a hit to LCS than it is to TSM as they can clearly afford to field talent elsewhere. Might as well go to China,EU, or KR if you're going to have to pay to import players from mainly those regions anyway. And the comment about "not investing in NA talent' 100T literally has academy and a junior program and yet , all they did was sign DL and Bjerg - TL just throws cash money at Pyosik after winning Worlds - and FOR WHAT LOL to still lose to C9 regular season? Wild.

Curious to see where this goes. The LCS has been dead for years it feels like. It isn't TSM that has failed to do anything at worlds. Its NA that has failed to do anything. Watching MSI has just been a reminder of that when you watch NA flail around the map and make uncoordinated moves while other teams punish mistakes and make great team plays. Its hard to even be mad at TSM for abandoning NA when I myself find myself caring less and less. I'd rather watch leagues with better gameplay. The only NA games I watch anymore are C9 and after they roundly stomped NA only to completely shit the bed against international competition, its just another reminder that NA is not ready for the world stage. If Riot weren't headquartered there, they would have been relegated to a minor region and treated like the LJL, PCS, etc ages ago.
