It's time to thrift Goodwill and see what I can find to sell on EBAY, Mercari, or on Amazon using FBA. I also take a break from thrifting to go do some retail arbitrage in search of good clearance and find some incredible deals to resell. I love reselling clearance because it's easy to list and prep. I a great haul to show you today and some bolo items to keep an eye out for.

I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

This is the last weekend of the last month at the end of the year. The neighborhoods near me are overflowing with driveway and apartment "junk" piles from people moving out. Also self storage properties with piles left behind.

Those Native American dolls are sold at Hobby Lobby. They sell well on Etsy. I sold off a collection of those types of dolls on there. They are for decoration only & for crafters to make clothing for.

They take out any good iems when they're donated and sell online. Other items are overpriced or defective. I used to shop for resale when I first started re -selling and didn't know any better.

My local GW has a new manager (a couple months now) and prices jumped really high, shoes almost $25 and found at least 2 so far almost $35

I recommend leaving a review on their google maps store page. Mention the prices are too high. Some stores around here lowered prices because people were publicly complaining about them.

Goodwill may open later at 11am to keep homeless out of bathrooms since libraries are closed in mornings. On the weekends at 3pm is super busy rush time for checkout.

One of the Goodwill stores near me had locked bathrooms, but I think they got tired of having to call over the one guy that has the keys every 3 minutes so it's unlocked again now lol

i would not, i had a digital camera get rejected and sent back to me (US to Canada) because of a battery. ill never do international shipping again, too many rules

Depends on the batteries. These are fine, but lithium can have different rules.

I look for different name brand things. There's a lot out there. You can try google lens to identify it. It does a pretty good job if it's anything special.

Maybe the Miami stuff came from people getting Xmas presents from confused family members that thought the Miami dolphins and Miami college in Ohio were the same or just a bunch of fans who knows.

Actually, I saw an NFL article a few years back and the dolphins are actually very popular all over the nation and world. Same with cowbows.

I haven't found anything worth buying in 2 months, spanning 11 thrift stores in my area. There are 30 cars at every thrift store in Iowa before it opens. My area has to be the most saturated picker area of all time, Des Moines, IA. I'm there before they open the doors 3 days a week, and nothing. Every. Single. Time. No video games, no old hats, No good clothes, no electronics, no tools, nothing rare. Nothing valuable. Just a bunch of useless junk that shouldn't even be on a shelf. I don't understand how you're finding so much stuff. Are you the only picker picker within 90 miles of your house? It genuinely makes no sense.

There's a lot of resellers in my area. Many of them even watch my channel. I think some areas are just bad because of how the thrift stores are run. They may pull good stuff or price high. On top of that you may have a lot of other resellers in the area.

One thing I seen was a metal candle holder with a swirl wire pedestal. Some of those that are shabby sheek can be worthy of attention. My daughter and her husband have a car lot and to supplement their income they will drive across michigan to all the lowes or menards and pick up clearance items. She does it with clothes and electronics to online. She then sells on marketplace or has huge garage sales. They do pretty good overall.
