This is the BEST video I have found on this sort of stuff. Amazing and easy to follow. I've implemented everything on this video and you identified all the problems I have with cross domain purchases. Would be great to have a video on how to clean up your Google Tag account with all the old tags in there from UA. Too scared to touch these. Thanks for this video, Andrew.
Very informative and helpful for beginners. I look forward to seeing advanced videos on integrating GA 4 with Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Google Optimize. A lot has changed and a lot is still changing.
Extremely easy to follow. Thank you for posting this! I had used Google AdWords many years ago, and knew that things had changed dramatically, so for me, I'm essentially starting from scratch again. Now to look to see if you have any videos on ad placement strategies, such as PPC text ads vs. display ads vs RU-vid video ads, etc.
hey andrew great video thank you. quick question. Do you have to manually add the placement as the "campaign name" for each ad? So this in theory wouldnt work for dynamic ads that are showing accross multiple placements? i know thats not ideal because the creative should be optimized for the placement but i just want to clarify. Thank you!
Hi, I m looking for a way to add the campaign cost in the GA4 report: has anyone an idea of how to do that? (technically to have the same datas you have for google ads reports, but for Meta Ads ;) ) thanks !
HI Andrew ! Indeed an informative video. But I have one case based question - In my case I want to track medta ads data in GA4. But on my ads links takes the user to the whats app. How to setup whatsapp as a stream or How to do that ?
Thanks Carl. Yes, it should be just as accurate as the previous version of GA, but if a user is using an ad blocker or other method to block scripts in their browser it won’t work (same as previous GA version as well)
