Warning! This is the most versatile message on the Internet. Many Gmail users are shocked when they hear about "News about Google's less secure apps".
This message is for everyone who is using MS Outlook, Windows Mail, or Thunderbird together with a Gmail account. In recent days, you have probably received a message from Google saying “Google Less Secure Apps will no longer be available after May 30, 2022.”
Google less secure apps news clear that Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices that ask you to sign in to your Google account using only your username or password. I just bought the Galaxy S10 plus, my previous phone the Galaxy A71 I could disable Google and it would stay disabled, however on my S10 plus every time I try to disable Google it re enables itself and this is starting to piss me royally off! I've looked all over the internet for solutions and Google or Samsung will not answer. Anyone know how I can completely disable that app? I don't like that they're reading my call logs or my text messages that they keep enabling.

This is not true, you don't need to enable 2-Factor auth. For example in Thunderbird: select 'Server Settings' Under 'Authentication Method' change to 'OAuth2'. And it works perfectly. No need to enable APPs

@@KevinRaubRocks Actullay I have a central scanner device in my work (Canon IRc3125i), so I''ve setup the Gmail on it, in order all employess can scan and send their docs to their e-mail directly from the scanner gmail.
