Nice tutorial. I've been practicing a lot and have finally got the landing right - just did a London - Los Angeles flight yesterday, which took around 5 - 5.5 hours. Not all concentrated flying of course - once you reach cruising altitude and are going in the right direction, you can line up the navigation and unclick the screen to put it on auto pilot
Instead of using pins as waypoints I draw a temporary line from origin to destination to get a compass bearing which I fly to. I also record the lat/long coordinates of my destination. I mark the runways with two lines, one either side. This really helps for night landings.
This is actually pretty easy to me. What I do is before I start the flight I go to my destination runway first and make the movement straight in order for me to know when to turn, but check out my full flight videos on google earth and you'll see some examples of google earth full flight
I'd like to see you make a video on GEFS its google earth flight simulator but online. There is autopilot, you can choose aircraft, and it also has it's own navigation!
I use it a lot. A make navigation that i can follov the road. I follov the blue line from point A to point B. And i like it to follov the road from the air.
Never knew planes sounded like an orchestra ........👍🥴 A flight simulator without sound is somewhat boring ?.....it takes away from an actual flight simulating experience. Why wasn't that option not included ???
I can make longer flights, i make full flight videos. Btw the longest flight I had taken in google earth is from Los Angeles to Dallas which took 2.1 hours for me
can't we use other aircrafts like Airbus series, Boeing series and etc...in Google Earth?...and besides, they should improve this application fully integrated and without bugs, scratches or lags...we should fly on Google Earth like we fly in FSX...we should use joysticks or gamepads as a controller, not just with a mouse...finally, we should integrate or import our flight plans into the Google Earth, also we shouldn't use any add-on sceneries as well...just like this, it looks a raw improvement...
It's not that easy... plus the main point of the application isn't to be a flight sim so I highly doubt they want to stray too far from the main part. Anything more and it's just a waste of resources.
I think I found mine on goodle earth pro (Freedownload). I didn't know there were different versions. Even though I had used Google earth for years. It runs perfectly well with my usual Google earth. Maybe it's greyed out because it's not in your version. Also Google 3D buildings has to be turned on in the Google earth left side panel (So I was told in a tutorial).
Your moves are just to sharp..in real life plane would be torn apart! And no yellow pins please!I fly small sport planes and all I need are my eyes and knowledge of the terrain. Before I start to fly,I study map.For me,Google Earth is just good app to learn and practice approach of the landing site on the ground, terrain and everything around it.
