It is. They treched my neighborhood this way pretty recently. You see these vehicles around North austin these days. I think the tech said that it's an 18" trench now.
@@sirlesliechao i was talking about microtrenching specifically. Which generally puts the lines in at about 10 to 12 into the ground. Now they just fully trench the fiber, as they did before; burying the fiber 18 to 22 inches into the ground.
In Europe you can get Gigabit fibre internet for dirt cheap many places. But since you live in the US, I bet you amazingly sadly dysfunctional capitalism keep on screwing you over. The "greatest country of all" really seem more like a scam than anything else. But hey, somebody got to pay your CEOs 100 million dollar salaries.
