Yes. I care for value, speakers, battery life, overall feeling from use and maybe camera. To be honest, i have a Pixel 6 Pro, got it last week. It's a flagship from 2021. And I can't see a difference in speed from my 2019 Galaxy S10e....side by side you will see it, but otherwise not.
I have an iPhone 13 pro, and I just bought a Pixel 7 at Best Buy. I really like the Pixel 7. It looks cooler and modern. My wife is still using an iPhone XR, so I'll pass my iPhone 13 pro to her.
I think the Pixel asking you the same questions for permissions is an android 13 feature for privacy and security. So the apps can’t just use things like location in the apps automatically. But while I love iPhone, out of the two the Pixel innovates more and to me is the better looking phone. What’s interesting is despite the a15 bionic chip being so much faster in benchmarks the Pixel 7 keeps up with the tensor g2 and even beats the iPhone in a few cases. Considering the $200 difference I’d say the Pixel 7 is the clear winner.
Majority of iPhone users will simply stick with an iPhone purely because of the ecosystem. Usually these users have multiple iOS devices that seamlessly talk to each other. My wife would never give up her iPhone and introduce an unnecessary disconnect. I use a Pixel 5a and a Windows laptop. Do I get jealous of how easy and magical it is for her sometimes? Yes. Do I think Siri is a dumbass? Also yes.
The Pixel 7 is a more better deal. The only concerning thing for me regarding the Pixel, is Google's after sales support. Depending on where you are, support may or may not be available. This can be an issue, because they're nothing worse than your phone dying and having no option to get it replaced or fixed. In this case, the iPhone is superior. Other than that, Pixel all the way.
I agree .. In India people hesitates to purchase pixel phones because of no or negligible after sales support though we pay $729 including everything for iphone 14 we $ 1049 here ... And for pro.. $1800 so it's all about the value.
The real things that matter between these phones is not in the fractions of a second it takes to load an app. It's things like Call Screening, a superior assistant that understand you better than Siri ever will. Voice transcription that is more accurate. Better maps that will actually take you to your destination. Native Chrome browser and a more international friendly phone with physical sim card support. My Pixel4 shoots better pictures than friends with their iPhone13's from last year. In 2022 the Pixel7 still beats out the iphone 14. Get an iphone to fit in with the crowd, get the Pixel to actually enjoy your phone and make it work for you.
@@Altoseb I find the Google assistant to be more capable than Siri. I have not had any issues with Android Auto, in fact I prefer the interface since it gives you greater real estate on the vehicle display. I don't know a single Iphone user that actively uses Apple Maps while driving and not Google Maps.
@@Blackdawn80 Every car screen is rectangular. CarPlay runs the shortcut icons up the side to square it off, Android Auto runs them along the bottom making it even more rectangular and out of proportion. Stability - been using CarPlay for about 2 years and can count on one hand the number of times it has borked. I’ve had two android phones and on day one of using AAuto there were random app crashes, freezing and the transcription was wholly inaccurate. I tried these phones in 3 different cars all with the same results. Who said anything about using Apple Maps? You can use whatever you like - Waze, Google maps etc I personally use google maps.
@And Wil why do you think that mobile phones are exempt from criticism? I speak quite clearly, as when dictating messages into CarPlay for the last 2 years the accuracy has been good. Android Auto reads back the message with random words inserted that sound nothing like what was said.
Last iphone i had was the 12 & I switched to the Pixel 6 last year & got the P7 this year but damn I was not expecting it to be that much faster than the iPhone 14 but no hate on Apple I just fell in love with the Pixel lineup 😍
Hi there, many thanks for your video, very well executed. The Pixel will keep on asking you for location permissions etc until you log in to your G account, then it will never ask you that again. Camera-wise, the G Pixel is ages ahead of the iPhone 14.

Having the iPhone for couples years been great, they are really good phones no problems no issues but the pixel 7 shows it can do what apple can or almost but the pixel 7 doesn’t force nothing on you but apple ask for so many things plus more money but pixel 7 camera I’m little impressed by it but pixel 7 would be a good choice
Can't agree more with whatever you mentioned. I have been an iPhone user for 3 years but switched to p7 this year only due to $ value. I would have upgraded to iphone14 if it had better specs than iphone 13 or 14 pro if it was a bit cheaper.
@@AltafS if you don't want to go outside apple eco system. Ten don't buy p7. Instead buy 11promax. It's a really good phone. My friend still can use for 7-8 hr sot. Also has good display,camera (.5x1x2x). Overall good deal for 400 ish dollar. And if you are ready to switch then go for pixel 7 pro. If you search well you can buy 7pro right now for 700 ish bucks
for the camera quality and shit, watch MKBHD's blind camera ranking :) although, it's "personal" preference, you can still see that pixel camera + their software is better than the iPhone
The speed comparison is a tie in the real world, I mean we're literally talking millisecond differences in speeds, only noticable if the two phones are next to each other.
Pixel 7 runs modded apks, you tube with no ads, full version apps and games installed in seconds, I could never go back to an iPhone unless they start allowing side loading apps, jailbreak sucks and modded apps just stop working all the time on iOS, it's a shame because I like iPhones for their build and design etc, but iOS is so restricted compared to android, so any android midrange upwards I would pick over iPhone.
I'm not sure a Google phone isn't going to track your every move 24/7. I work on publicity ads and I HATE how annoying google keeps you on track and fucks you over and over by tracking you in every way, this may be a really bad phone for this reason.
Reverse wireless charging is pretty cool, but explain to me how often do you actually use that with your android phone because no android person I know has ever said thank the Lord I have reversed, wireless charging, nor did I ever see them grab someone else’s phone and say I got you bud we can charge your phone with my phone

Since you've been using Apple, it's safe to just go with what you're used to - iPhone 13. If you're switching to Android, I think Samsung S22+ is a better option that Pixel 7
If software it's important to you, Google pixel has the best among all android brands, because literally google are the owners of android, so they can optimize it exactly for the pixel like apple does with iOS, so yeah, you'll be fine
The notch is what identifies it as an iPhone. People who like iPhones like to be recognized as having an iPhone, not an android. Most people who like iPhone take pride in the Notch and don't see it as a negative. I guess that's Android marketing but when you watch TV iPhone is always the easiest one to identify when you see the phone in someone's hand which gives it a peculiar ability to stand out from all other phones and makes it unique!
@@short1st65 Android has been busy attacking the notch and iPhone and Android always respond to what the other does and says. I've seen projections of what the iPhone 15 may look like and it look like there was a notch although it was much smaller. I would love to buy an iPhone next after having a head and Android for a few years and I definitely would like to have the notch!

The one thing I do love about android is the fact that you literally have a computer in your hands while all your friends are downloading stuff off the computer, you can download it straight from your phone and open the file on your phone and iPhone can’t do that still in 2022 which is sad. I stay with Apple because I like iMessage and the phone case I have they don’t have it with android at least not anymore since the galaxy S6 and that is a Lifeproof frē
You said it’s sad that a phone in this day and age has a notch. Well, if you would have upgraded and bought the 14 Pro you would’ve got a dynamic island no notch. Me personally I like to get a year older phone. Every time I upgrade one is cheaper and two you know all the bugs have been worked out for the most part. As for the dynamic island I feel like there’s gonna be some bug along the way before the iPhone 15 comes out with it I mean it’s newer technology for Apple that is and they’re pushing updates for the iPhone 14 a lot right now so yeah
Newer chip means longer lasting experience on the pixel 7. Oh my sweet summer child.... I wish it did but even the Iphone 13's chip runs circles around tensor... It does not matter now but we all know it does in 3-4 years.
Google gives you 3 years of updates, Apple gives you about 5 years, from what I can see. Question is willyou be changing your phonw in 3 years just to stay with the trend or keep it longer than that. Also, I have read in the past that components in the mobile phones degrade over time. Is it safe to keep using a phone pass 2 o 3 years? If you are willing to keep the iPhone for more than 3 years then the difference in cost is somehow negligible.
I will prefer to change my phone every 3 years due to new technology is come and go. You want to have the later carrier frecuency signal for you phone.
I don't like any phone that you can't tweak to your liking I love Android phones because they can be set up exactly the way you want them to be you can make of Android phone louder you can set your screen and it just the way you like the iPhone has so many things that annoy me I would take an Android over an iPhone any day.
Something you didn't compare is likely the primary reason someone would choose the pixel... Google Assistant. I'm definitely NOT a Pixel 7 fanboy either, (after having mine almost 3 days and still trying to get it working properly with 4 hours sleep a night), I'll attest my wife's new iPhone 14 crushes the Pixel 7 in every aspect as a smartphone. Hers just simply works, right out of the box and has never caused any issues. The camera is better, the sound and speakers are better, phone calls are better... it's better looking, better feeling and a better size. As for performance, the Pixel 7 is no match. We ran geek bench simultaneously on them and her iPhone absolutely CRUSHED the Pixel 7. My son's iPhone 12 spanked it by a wide margin and even my old work phone an iPhone 8 came close to the Pixel 7 performance. That being said and in all fairness, as much as I HATE MY PIXEL 7, and have buyers remorse because I could've bought the iPhone 14 for the same deal at Verizon, it's really not fair to compare the two without one major consideration and that's the Google Assistant paired with that Tensor 2 processor. If you're someone like me who relies on hands free for everything from navigation to calling people to texting or reading what's on the screen, adding calendar events and adding birthdays, turning on apps like Pandora, Spotify and Podcast's while playing, pausing, skipping, adjusting the volume and more. there's no comparing the two. Hands free, Pixel 7 isn't in the same universe. For those who don't use that, then the iPhone 14 is the obvious choice.
My experience is kind of the same - my iPhone is much smoother in day to day then Pixel 7. iOS is such a refined system that blends perfectly with iPhone hardware and Google just can't compete with Android and Pixel line. I use my cameras a lot and iPhone camera app is butter smooth. Everything works fast and just as you expect it. You see previews in real life of what picture is going to look like vs with Pixel camera app experience is jumpy and just feels unfinished. Particularly I don't like the fact that you can't rely on preview to know what final picture is going to look like as a lot of AI processing can not keep up with live preview stuff and is only happening post-fact. Price difference is there and it's a factor in favor of Pixel, but price aside - iPhone is just a better daily driver then Pixel, both hardware and especially software wise.
Unfortunately, in all the reviews about Google Pixel 7 no one mentions anything about the mediocre display brightness. I really wanted to get away from my iPhone 11 and Apple "ecosystem" as such, I purchased a Google Pixel 7. I fiddled around with the display for a while and even at 100% (maximum setting) Google Pixel 7 is not as bright as the iPhone 11 at 70 - 75%. Not only that, but by changing the viewing angle, the display becomes yet more disappointing. I'm sorry, Google. I returned the Pixel 7 and purchased an iPhone 13.
the screen brightness has always been bad with the Pixels. I read that they improved the brightness for the Pixel 7. Disappointing to hear its still bad
Tbh if you're not getting the iphone 14 pro or better for that dynamic island, its the same song and dance. At least get the 14 pro. I have the Pixel 7 pro and let me tellz ya. From now on I only do pixels or iphones. I'm good.

Whether it’s a notch, a dot or other cut out is hardly relevant… none of them should exist in 2022. I wouldn’t accept an area in my television screen that can’t display stuff and I’m not happy about it with a premium phone. I look forward to the day when all of these things are outdated!
