Google Pixel Watch Review - 1 Year Later (Still Imperfect) 

Like I said in the review, I ended up returning this watch, and picked up a Watch 4 Classic instead. I had the Watch 6 Classic when I was still rocking an S23 Ultra as my primary device, but it's been a few months since then. And sure enough, my memory was correct. The things the Pixel Watch does not do, Samsung does. This includes timer and alarm syncing (even with the Pixel 6 Pro; Samsung phone not necessary), better performance, having a more competent companion app, a better media control app (it has a queue, and the album art is behind the buttons, instead of a single colour from the album cover like on the Pixel Watch). The only thing I miss is a standing goal, even if the watch does give you hourly get up notifications. I remember why I never reviewed the Watch 6 Classic or the regular Watch 4 - because they do the stuff a smartwatch is supposed to do. Both Apple and Samsung have a near identical feature set. Though my Watch 4 Classic has some pretty bad battery degradation and also has image retention 🥲
