Truth! Some people don't realize yes that might make it possible for these things to exist in this world we live in today. Then again imagine a world for which such things could be done for other reasons instead? Imagine if money wasn't the sole purpose of every reason and instead people could direct their resources to creating wonderfully crafted experiences for one another instead? Imagine if instead of profit being the number one motivator, such a motivator was eliminated and therefore all that was left was to create the best product to provide the best experience possible? Consider why for example the industry of gaming sucks so bad today, this is because instead of creating a worthwhile experience the corporations are focused by law on profit only and therefore instead of an experience they are trying to make a highly addictive and time consuming product to suck you in and funnel all your resources (money) from your pocket to their own? Imagine if instead of creating slave plantations for our kids we taught them to join communities instead of corporations? Imagine if corporations were communities of equal standing members instead of a board of directors that owns a bunch of kids as employees and puts a value on their head? Why do you teach your kids to become slaves instead of members of communities on the same level or at least all owned partners to the community for which they allow to assume power over their head?
@Gabriel Eder they use ads to make money and then use the money to make us and operate a lot of free services. Like gmail, free cloud storage on google drive, google docs, google slides, and youtube
well 98% of the world population are morons.. and these companies always account for the least common factor when doing things .... why you think there are usually so many warnings for things that seem to be common sense things that shouldn't needed to be said to start with
This Ad will be the reason for self-aware quantum computers to start exterminating the human race. No processing power can handle that amount of cringe.
That little explanation skit was so awkward and unfunny it was a masterclass in cringe. Whoever they got to write/produce that thing should've been fired on the spot.
even they don't completely understand the architecture of quantum computers. So they brought in Pena to add the comedic element to the video to dominate the search of knowledge by audience. even in most quantum computer explanation videos on youtube, the main hosts are trying hard to be funny in attempt of explaining the concept as simple as possible. currently, not even computer scientists are sure to discuss the architecture of the quantum computer, Cause it's not possible. This is the first time computer scientists are making a quantum computer and they doing it from scratch.
Quantum computer update has no meat. Please tell me how many physical Qubit have now and in next few years. How long you could keep stable? How fast you could run?
Don't know the answers but given no actual hard answers they are probably 200 years away. I'm not kidding. People don't realize how absurd the project is, but they are assuming they will just discover a moores law type factor that gives them orders of magnitued better results.
this is why everyone in Computer Science loves Guilfoyle from Silicon Valley. When they hire actors to make commercials and write stupid scripts for things that shoudn't have actors and scripts.
A great example of how NOT to do a presentation. Hiring a comedian was the wrong solution and you didn't need a quantum computer to give you the answer.
I didn't understand anything, the purpose or The reason or the goal, when teacher explain and students dont understand it means the guys explaining themselves they don't know what they're talking about or explaining
Imagine A Google worker deciding to mine bitcoin for a week unnoticed on this Computer, they could mine so much bitcoin that they could retire for life😂
Achieving your quantum milestone is a very cute thing that infants frequently do. The real deal is spiritual, because the world we live in is created by awareness, and spirituality is the desire to understand how awareness creates the reality that we exist within.
When and if quantum computing becomes a reality, it will likely mean destruction of everything you think you know and what comes afterwards is anyone's guess. Quantum computing almost certainly will mean that there is no secret anyone has that can be kept from the owners of a quantum computer... No digital security would be safe from being broken. Everyone would have to learn how to live in a world where no secret can be kept from anyone else. All knowledge how to make things better would become common knowledge to everyone else so in theory no country would have an economic or "intellectual property" advantage over anyone else. No military "secret" would be secret, would be known to all. And, maybe an AI might finally exist that would be superior to humans... At best today, the most capable AI is only approximately the same as humanity's best experts with highest degrees and experience.
The Turing test has been passed by multiple AI, at the earliest in 1966 by an 'AI' named ELIZA. This is not significant however, because the Turing test is fundamentally flawed, both in that its goal can be achieved by AI which are not actually "thinking" but only responding with a pool of responses, and in that the interrogator's attitude and prior knowledge severely influences the results of the test- also, anthropomorphic fallacy.
OK, Google has its own campus for developing a quantum computer. Since last time I checked, everyone had a different idea how to maybe build a quantum computer, Am looking forward to information about what approaches you believe will be more successful and any achievements you are willing to publicize.
