I think you mentioned it for a future video, but getting an image data base set to pull up with the players stats is the last thing on my list! You might already have a video on it? but I cant figure out how to make a circle/pie chart for a remaining % - in this case taking current stats vs projected stats for remaining potential in x years

Thanks for your kind words! Ultimately, your ability to do this will come down to how the web pages are organized (by the website's developers). I will try to give a use case without a tutorial. At ~2 minutes in to this tutorial, I get data from a website: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uQdfcbyzWA8.htmlsi=PuL7CHIaS27FtYLy If I wanted to change a year in a cell in my Google Sheet and have the data for that year come along for the ride, I would separate parameterize the URL. Here is the starting URL: "www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2021_totals.html" We could separate this into: "www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_" AND "_totals.html" THEN Let's say in cell A1, we could have a spot for us to insert the year. The URL in the formula would end up looking something like: "www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_"&A1&"_totals.html" I hope this example helps a bit. Thank you!

That's a great question. There are a variety of ways to simulate/impute data. Monte Carlo is one method. If you were to use Monte Carlo simulation, you would likely not be executing it within Google Sheets or Excel. I hope this helps!

Hi Junior. That's a great question. I don't have any resources to get that done. I'll just brainstorm out loud for a bit. I would look for a website that stores daily scores in a table format. I'd then try to use IMPORTHTML for that table. I'd create an area on my spreadsheet whereby I enter 5 dates - my assumption is that on this website that there is predictable URL infrastructure to pull the data for each of these 5 dates using the date information (e.g., I would expect something like "month=4%day=21%year=2023" or something like that in the website URL, and if we know the date of interest is "4/21/2023", we can use that information to automate the correct date of information to be pulled from the website). Given how most box scores are displayed on websites (e.g., each box score is an individual table), you may have to import ~50 tables, or 10 scores/day, simultaneously in an organized fashion to get that data. I'm not sure how that would go though. I hope this helps.

It will automatically update every day. You can adjust the recalculation refresh rate in the Settings of the Google Sheets file.

Im trying to build a college football fantasy sheet and afraid that if i build a formula for a certain players value that the formula gets thrown off if the live data gets reshuffled

If new players are added to the table you're scraping data from, the new players will be added to your sorted list (e.g., updated data from the website will update in the Google Sheet). However, the sorting will be automated and always sort the way you tell it to via your Google Sheets functions.

Great question. In the QUERY function, you can use SQL to decide which columns you want and don't want (e.g., instead of SELECT * you can SELECT [specific columns of interest]). I hope this helps. Thank you!

How do I add more then 1 section like at the end I want table 1 through 20 is there a way to do that or would I just have to repeat the process 20 times?

To my knowledge, you would have to bring in each table independently, or perhaps you can combine IMPORTHTML functions into one formula to bring in one huge table, but within that formula, you would still have to include IMPORTHTML functions for each table of interest.
