Goose thinks woman is his wife and builds nests for her ❤️ Special thanks to Glen & Shirley! Keep up with them on TikTok: thedo.do/glen_and_honk & Instagram: thedo.do/GlenTheGoose.
Only Maggie gets that power 🔥 Edit: for anyone who doesn’t understand, Maggie is a character in the walking dead who married another character named Glen who is pretty great
I'm pretty sure if a man displayed protective tendencies like this every woman would shun him and other women will say omg your husband is abusive, you can't do anything, he's always there, watching.
Geese were used to guard castles back in the day. They are great for sounding the alarm for intruders. They will protect a flock of chickens. He does need a lady goose. He will still protect you and your home.
Yep, they saved Rome by alerting them when the Gauls were coming, they are more intelligent than most people think and are very protective and loyal! They have been recently used to guard prisons in Brazil and fight crime in China instead of dogs because they are harder to neutralize and have excellent hearing. Everyone is gangster until the goose starts running and squawking.
Gotta say that’s like getting her ready for the egg 🥚 , that goose has some high expectations… 😂 but the feelings are the same I’m sure!! If only he knew that we mammals don’t operate that way or not in the same way as a goose I’m sure… 😅 ?
Poor Glen, sadly he is the one having to watch through the window his forever life mate cheat on him! I bet Glen could make intimate moments a bit more awkward with him staring through the window! Heh…😂
@@Onailuj83Exactly. No one would want this from a real person. It's obsessive, controlling and intrusive. The goose gets away with it cause it's an animal. However, I'm sure there and many so called feminists which just want to have cake and eat it, too.
We had a donkey like that when we were little. He was protective of everyone in the family and loves our Dad. If someone who doesn't belong to the family steps into the fence, our donkey Maiden will try to run them off.
Glen is a great guy. He makes sure no harm comes to her, he’s very affectionate and not afraid of work around the house - he doesn’t think building a nest is women”s. work. We all deserve a Glen.
My husband had a goose for 13 years and she’d chased anyone away from him including his horse. She love to dance with him as they listen to the polka show
The Ballantine's bottling plant in Dumbarton, (Scotland) used guard geese for decades - from 1959 to 2012. They were responsible for protecting £300m worth of whisky
Moved into a new neighborhood in Dallas roughly 5 years ago. Was driving down the street one day, and saw a guy walking down the sidewalk, with 2 geese on each wide. Like he was walking 2 dogs. I slowed down and stuck my head out the window to make sure I wasn'ttrippin.. Saw the guy walk the geese twice a day for years lol
"Glen has the key components of a perfect husband" Also Glen: *chases away every person and animal that tries to get close to his "wife", follows her everywhere she goes and when he can't he lurks outside the house* Dude Idk to me it's more like key components of a stalker lmao
Exactly. She just described a toxic relationship. I guess it's "cute" because its a bird but honestly that would be a fucked up marriage and if Glenn had hands then a case for domestic violence. But ik there will be people who will say (A) I don't get a joke and (B) Glenn is just being protective of a loved one.
Agreed: this is wonderful for both of them. They're both so gentle with each other. I'd love to have a goose as a bodyguard, almost MORE than I'd like to have a dog at my side, if I was out on property.
My dear, you are in an abusive relationship. That goose is stalking you, isolating you from others and restricting your movements. Please alert the authorities and get him thrown in goose prison.
My Maggie Girl was protective of me & my 3 children. I had to make an enclosure around the front door area to prevent her from attacking visitors. I love my sweet Maggie. It's been 31 yrs since she went to goose heaven & I still miss her very much! She was the dearest pet ever & I've had a LOT of pets in my 62 years of life.
I agree, it's super cute but it can actually become too much for both the human & the pet! My dog is a "Velcro Dog" and when you have a 115lb Pitbull attached at your hip, everywhere you go in the house and outside is overwhelming. Especially when I have to leave and go places that I can't take her, boy does she throw a fit and give me attitude!... 🤣😅🤣
I think it's adorable how she said if she's stationary for any amount of time that Glen starts trying to build a nest. It's cuz he thinks she's laying an egg & their gonna have a baby goose! Aww! 🤗
Key characteristics of a good husband according to this goose farmer: - Scare away other men - Chase away animals - Watch over your wife when she naps - Don't allow your wife near fire - Follow your wife around the house at all times - Build nests around your wife whenever she gets stationary Yeah, sounds about right.
What a sweetheart. I had 3 geese I would visit everyday and we would nap as a flock, with alternating guards, I could call them and from across the lake and they would honk and come flapping my way, I would even take turns carrying them through the walking paths, they would fight for who was next 😂 miss those guys.
I can relate. We Glen's are very loyal. We all tend to come from humble beginnings unlike Glenn's. In my case, we were a poor family and couldn't afford a second "n" when I was born. Such hardships make us trustworthy, loyal and protective.
For all his efforts he will never get laid for it is an impossibility. You sir on the other hand can change your life so long as you believe in yourself
💯 such a healthy, refreshing, emotionally supportive message❣️ I agree, as some financially struggling people are ashamed to ‘treat’ themselves believing they don’t deserve or need a feel-good anything because of income. Thank you.
I think is so wonderful that they have this Bond And that he truly loves her.... But I also think that he has a need that could only be filled by another goose as a partner. He will always love her just as much but I think he needs a goose companion also 🙂💗 Love and with all the best wishes
I was married for 12 years. While that’s not tons of experience, it was enough to make it clear that life with a devoted champion like Glen would fulfill more of my dreams than marriage ever did!
And hed stick around because he wouldnt understand youre constant windging complaining and nagging. I wish you best of luck its pretty easy to meet geese try a golf course or local pond. Yikes cringe
i follow her tiktok, she has tried multiple times! but they are getting him some baby geese this spring so he can be a goose dad since he won't have goslings with any of the female geese
Yes, that is what I was thinking, he clearly has a lot of love to give, and it would probably be good for him. But is it true, do they mate for life and would he reject anyone else?
I had a parakeet" husband." Thought I'd get him a real wife. It didn't go well. It's too late. The gander is bonded to her and to her alone. They choose you, not the other way around.
@@Mdeaccosta Exactly, condescending ass hats who don't know what they're talking about but act like experts in a subject, it's not hard to do research before making yourself look foolish is all I'm trying to say, birds choose their mates, many permanently, and if bonded with a human they will often refuse members of their own species, often with violent rejection
I think Glen knows you are not his wife or else he'd be trying to get you into a pond or something. I think Glen just loves the love you give him and is giving you everything back.
It’s actually extremely common for pet birds to pick their owner as their mate. My exes Tiel would constantly flock call when she left and always stuck her cloaca in her face and make mating sounds
Love result is to lay eggs and wait for babies, all loves means next generation, once I raised crock and then one day he uses my shoe for sex , a white liquid was there on my shoe, so that is why so many ladies in the world have sex with their pet dogs because it is the end point of LOVE.
@@k.r.99 Considering that I'm familiar with the insane levels of bad faith that conservatives will stoop to, I already know this is a misrepresentation. Yes, I'm calling you a liar.
Geese are the best! Bad ass, extremely powerful, feisty, extremely intelligent social beautiful friendly lovely... all the good traits! Everyone needs a goose friend in their life!
@@doggoadexx2680 haha :D yeah stalkers are obnoxious. but geese would never be as bad as a human. I know that because I'm around geese daily. When I want to be left alone, I go away, same with the geese. Don't imprint a goose on you or else they attach to you, but it's no stalking.
I can somewhat relate to this. I met Oscar the goose, and his wife & babies at the park. He looked a lot like this goose (violet eyes)...he was such a sweetheart! He got so excited when I showed up, and so determined to keep me there at the park. This really brought back fond memories.
