It's rare that I say this but damn.....she's sounds sooo much like Amy. It's almost chilling..... This young woman has an incredible future. Prayfully, she avoids the dark trappings that took Amy from the world far too soon.
Without taking anything away from Amy I would say that maybe it's something more. Here it makes you cold and she is only 10 years old. Switch indifferently from one genre to another. Lately he has done two covers in the usual antiques shop, going from Elvis to Whitney equaling them. But the thing that characterizes her most is that she is a storyteller. I remember that at 9 she wrote a book on the story of why she sings barefoot. You wrote Million Miles, that as the best wines the older the better it becomes. He could become like Bob Dylan, but with Maria Callas' singing and communication skills.
Thankfully Angelina has stayed the course so far and has a strong, wise, loving family supporting her. When Angelina signed with Republic Records, 2 years ago at age 14, her family requested she be allowed as normal a childhood as possible. Republic has honored that by not promoting her yet. Angelina at age 6, was saying she wanted to sing for the entire world.
I was born in 1960 and have heard numerous bands and singers, when I discovered Angelina, she just blew me away with her ability to sound like and usually improve each song she takes on !!! Go Angelina !!!!
In her early years, Angelina used her phenomenal vocal abilities to adopt an influential great voice and inhebit a song with it. As she grew up, she collected those influences and forged her unique, unimitable sound. Wonderful!

Angelina's Mother Sarah Astar was not happy with the lyrics of the song as being too adult. She insisted Angelina change them if she wanted to do the song. Angelina finished writing them in the car on the way to the recording. My understanding is that they fit so well that KORK had no need to change the arrangement and that to me is astonishing! Angelina's roots are in Jazz. She been listening and studying these icons from the past century since she was 2-3 yrs old on u-Tube. Also Angelina arranges, at least in part, if not in total, total control of all her performances. She has since she was 7-8 yrs old. She knows what she wants and gets exactly what she wants out of the artists and musicians she works with, many of them who are some of the most accomplished in the industry. ♥👣
As I understand the story for this performance, Angelina's mom read the Amy Winehouse lyrics the day before the recording session and told her daughter she could not sing those lyrics. Angelina went straight to work writing new lyrics. The day of the recording session, they had a TV interview at a amusement park, along with a couple of Angelina's best friends. They had a great time there with Angelina screeching to the heavens while riding a roller coaster. They drove to the recording session with Angelina reviewing her new lyrics. Angelina walked in, kicked off her sneakers, did two takes and was done. Angelina was 10 years old. Nice reaction! Not sure if you noticed, but she changed some of the lyrics to make it more age appropriate for her. As she was on her way for this performance, her mother told her if she wanted to sing this song, she had to change some of the lyrics. So, she worked feverishly in the car ride going through the lyrics and changing what needed to be changed. Sheesh, talk about pressure, but she did it and was ready to go once she got there! She's such a pro! This was very impressive!
You'll hear about it for sure. Today at just 16 (10 here) she did 160 covers (almost all at this level) + 5 originals + two written for her. I forgot for 2 years she signed with R.R., one of the most important world record companies as an artist with the highest priority.

Awesome reaction, facial and body language said it all! She was 11 and rewrote the lyrics 24 hours before this practice session to make song more age appropriate. She actually made last minute changes in the car on the way to the music hall. If you notice she kept looking down at a sheet, those were the changes. She was born with The Gifts, to Sing, Write, Compose, Speak several Languages, An Artist, Sew her own clothes, play 4 instruments and wrote a book that was published when she was 9. She has done Acting and Modeling, Super Natural Talent! She kept getting in line when God was handing out Talent, LOL, God Bless!
When I watch her 2022 releases and her concert performances in Norway, I realize that we are this year witnessing the birth of a supernova here on Earth. Angelina is destined to be one of the greats in music.
I think Angelina was just ten when she gave us that performance of Back to Black. And yes, you are quite right, the orchestra were stunned speechless to find themselves recording with the incomparable young lady Angelina. She is making countless millions of lives so much better. Did you notice she changed the lyrics? Her mom said they weren’t age appropriate, so on the way to this recording session, she rewrote them. That’s why she was looking at her pages while singing. One of my very favorites-I get the goosebumps, too! She’s ten years old here.

What a great reaction to this classic cover by 10 year old Angelina. Amy is one of Angelina's inspirations and she definitely used her Amy voice for this one. Little back story here, her Mom did not want Angelina to sing this song with the inappropriate original lyrics because of her age, so the 10 year old sat down the night before and re-wrote the lyrics as you may have noticed. The day of this recording she and her friends spend the day at an amusement park and on the way to the recording she finished her re-write and here you go. There is a video of her at the recording showing her displeasure with the first take of this song, she made some changes and this is the end result you just listened to, absolute brilliant music genius is this young girl. great reaction . amy winehouse and angelina are two of my all time favorite female vocalists both incredibly talented , and a thing about both that i find is strange is that so many people had never heard amy and now i feel that same thing with angelina . although i think that angelina will blow the roof off of the music industry when her family tells republic it is the right time. you can see in this performance that angelina has total committment to a song when she takes it on , even with having to rewrite the lyrics in a day she just isnt phased by that in the least and treats us to something very special in this performance .

About what Angelina did to be able to sing Amy Whinehouse's "Back to Black": replacing the lyrics of that song in twenty-four hours without changing a single note so that the musicians she was to record with did not have to modify their respective scores. This is the difference between her and so many other performers. Of course there is her phenomenal voice, but above all there is that she is a musician in her own right.

I watched them all to this one. I was surprised to see that you haven't done any more. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. She has so much great stuff out there.
She is born on january 10th 2006. She is 10 now and the fascinating of it is that few hours before this rehearsal she improvised the lyrics, changed them to be suitable to her age. Amy's were too dark. She does it all the time.She arranges the song not for her own sake but for the sake of the song, like in Bohemian Rapsody. 👍🤟🤩

Her cover of Valerie is pretty good, too, but my favorite of Angelina's Amy Winehouse covers is Rehab, especially her performance at Kongsberg Jazz Festival in 2018.
