Gopi Krishna : Kundalini Awakening Experience 

How has your life been ever since? I had a spontaneous kundalini awakening in 2018, and it feels like I’m just beginning to dive into its wonders. I also have to agree that I don’t think it’s possible to artificially activate kundalini, or rather force it, although many people in the new age community discuss on this topic. @@_s1d well, it's a long story. Let's just say that that experience completely changed the lens through which I perceived the world and myself. It became the foundation on which I built my life on. But eventually, only the memory of it was not enough, and for the past 2 years I've been meditating regularly again (Kriya Yoga). This is crucial, because knowledge alone is not enough. It takes daily practice to bring the knowledge to life and initiate true transformation. I would love to have another kundalini awakening experience of course, but having this as my only goal would actually prevent it.

@@_s1d you're right though. Nowadays, "kundalini" has become the new buzzword that everyone is using, often to sell courses and books promising easy and fast k activation. It's all BS in my opinion. It's just a new way for the ego to feel special and important.

@@markusomega6004 I’ve begun meditation again, hard to stay consistent on daily basis. I do remember when I first had my kundalini activation, I recall how important meditation was for me, and I made sure it was a daily thing. I’ve drifted off that road ever since, but I’m finding my way. Being reborn is no walk in the park, let alone the idea of “walking” is a bit too advanced for an infant. I’ll start with crawling? Thank you very much? Still learning so much, grateful for the experience. Grateful for your wisdom. I wish you well on this path.

In 1992 I had 2 Kundalini experiences after taking a Kundalini yoga workshop,where we received shaktipat from a Kundalini masterfrom India. 1 experience was called sucking the nectar,amirt.The other experience was a 3rd eye opener that was initiated by a loud tone or frequency. Several years later I had 2 altered states of awareness,I call Sattwa samadhi-total inner peace & a disconnect from the ego. This occurred after meditating in the Shrine room at the Ramakrishna monestary & at the Self Realization Fellowship temple in Encinitas calif after meditating for 1 hour,but only lasted for a few hours. same here brother ......my awakened 4 years ago.......i also feel like living in two world ......it has been really hard to ground all that energy till now. i feel the other world is extremely heavy on my nervous system. my body is taking time to ground that awakening even after 4 years. i feel like i need to get stronger physically to handle such stress. i am unable to work even now. i cant travel because of the stress it puts on my mind. its been really hard. please share your experience or advice.

@@munishqureshi7285 Diet can be helpful.A higher protein diet can slow down the higher frequency range allowing for a better integration. If you read Gopi Krishnas book;Living with Kundalini, his lack of sleep was matched by his aversion to food.As he was about to lose his mind he saw his 3 year old son eating a greasy meat dish.That sparked in him a hunger pang & he started on a very high protein diet. He could literally see the food being absorbed internally‐ breaking down & moving to his brain & nervous system creating a more robust nervous system capable of handling the increase in energies/prana.

@@ronlynn8530 actually my awakening gave me severe anxiety so i have been put on antidepressants since then . trying to find the correct medicine for your anxiety is itself a big problem. And the side effects are also problematic ! Life has been revolving around psyche meds for the last few years man.

In 2013 I had a spontaneous awakening of the fire of the Holy Spirit (aka kundalini) out of the blue which started on top of my head (crown chakra). At first I was very apprehensive as to what this was. Then a few days later I recalled someone mentioning kundalini to me, so Iooked it up. Then I realized what was happening. It was a very beautiful and blissful experience. The powerful energies worked on me for months and months, I experienced a massive heart center awakening along with it. Plus, the lotus flower (yes when it explodes through the top of your crown it feels just like a flower) and the "helmet". Also solid shaft of pure energy up from the root through the crown. I also have been studying the fire of the Holy Spirit as I believe this is what the apostles and Mother Mary were all experiencing (Pentecost).

Alan Brooks likely it started at age 14, you recognized it at age 16 and it will continue. It is the constant awakening and upgrade of your life force, you must find use for it. The body is one unit of the system you call your self you must keep balance, as the body is upgrading upgrade the other units.

I'm wondering to what extent the kundalini is actually aroused within someone who can include Mohammad --who killed, took slaves, set down draconian edicts and violent punishments in his list of the great teachers. +Julian Macias Did you watch the above video? While kundalini can be called a force or a power, it's not that in the sense of lets say testosterone. It has a contrary effect on ego (belief in individuality). I doubt Mohammed had a kundalini awakening.

I'm in touch with enlightened master and it really helped systematically to grow in spiritual dimension. Spiritual path is very unknown and dark. It needs hand-holding support from living master. I just asking a question based on my observation of the video. How am I to know if he's happy or not? I seen no evidence of it. I can only take a person's word for it if they claim to be feeling one way or another. I can observe their actions, choice of words, and feel their energy and that will tell me more accurately than what a person will often say of themselves but still ultimately I do not know for certainty. Differences with UG are mere semantics. What GK is elaborating on his the physiological aspect of awakening, what the morose UG called calamity. Hitchens okayed the transcendental, he took issue with conventional definition of god and religious mayhem. There is a video on youtube somewhere where he explicitly said so. Subject of spirituality is constantly bombarded by paradoxes. If you are sincere, you'll slowly harmonize the seeming inconsistencies. Not sure if this helped but that was my intention.

Turbulence is there in any state..If we live this life we will face turbulence regardless of having peace....But when one is in true peace turbulences can be handled while staying in peace..This is a very deep peace
