I truly admire your work! I have a quick question even If it belongs to another subject. What do you think about 8:7 aspect ratio of GoPro Hero 11 & 12? Is it worth to shoot in that AR? I'd like to produce both horizontal and vertical video when I go to dive (as an amateur). So, 8:7 sounds like a perfect solution for me but I can't be sure (lack of linear FOV, some other limitattions etc.). So I want to hear your thoughts about 8:7 aspect ratio. Thanks!
I find myself cropping SO MUCH of my GoPro footage in post, so I switch between Narrow and Wide depending on what I expect/hope to see. I’m furious at GoPro that I can’t quickly change this FOV underwater anymore but I’ve picked up a plastic card with QR Codes, haven’t tried yet though.
Seen a lot of negative feedback for GoPro Hero 10. Have you encountered freezing/overheating while using the camera underwater and did you buy direct from GoPro.
Yes, I did buy directly from GoPro. I've never experienced freezing but I did have some overheating issues when having it set to 4K 120p and leaving it running for extended periods of time.

Eine Frage, wenn ich tauche und einen Filter nutze für die GoPro Hero 10, muss ich dann trotzdem die ProTune Einstellungen auf "Unterwasser" einstellen - ISO, EV, Colour etc.? Hallo Bobby Ich würde immer die ProTune Einstellungen benutzen. So kannst du die Aufnahmen am besten kontrollieren. Welche Einstellungen du benutzt hängt auch von der Situation ab, ich würde aber immer bit Rate auf „high“ stellen, das flache Farbprofil wählen, und die max ISO auf 800 begrenzen. Hoffe das hilft?
