i have the gopro 10 and didn't want to upgrade because there are no significant improvements. now the highly anticipated hero 13 is here and... still no improvements, except for the 10bit profile. The Ace Pro outmatches the gopro in so many ways. Now I will wait for the ace pro 2. this will be my new channel camera.
Yes, it mainly has the much better dynamic range. Many shots were taken in direct sunlight and the GoPro had really difficulties under these conditions
Insta360 Ace Pro lived for three days after purchase. The first time I turned the longboard over, the screen flew off. I purchased a GoPro 12, which survived bumps, falls, and rocks in muddy puddles. Insta360 Ace Pro is everything - a camera for bloggers, travel, walking, but it is not an action camera. What difference does it make how well it shoots if I can’t take it to any , a truly interesting action ride?
Great video as usual! People should keep this in mind, it's still a tight race between these two... a 13th generation camera against a 1st generation camera that's also as you said, a year old ;) Ace Pro 2 will destroy GP13 in October IMO.
Yes, tight race now, like you said, depending on your preference and what you are using the cameras for, but what does that say about what the comparison will be for the Ace Pro 2? That is, unless they do something dumb like DJI did by throttling the bit rate on the Osmo 5.
