RU-vid messed up the audio on this video. I have enabled CC but it won't work because the audio isn't there. The audio starts at 3:00. I contacted RU-vid for this issue months ago but they never got back to me. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Great instructions. BTW..I bought this camera because it's supposedly waterproof as in I woudn't need to use an underwater casing for it. WRONG. Water got inside the lense on my first dive in the ocean. I read on a forum that I could get the water out by leaving the little side door open for at least 24 hours and it worked.
Thank you and thanks for the feedback. I have pinned your comment so others are aware. Did the video turn out okay given that water got in the lens? Was the camera fully functioned after drying? Any video quality or audio quality issues?
I Wish I would have seen your comment before buying. I Had mine for 1 day and got condensation around the lens. I will be returning mines asap. Sucks because I can't even record on it due to the blurred screen. Everything functions on it though.
@@CanadianVlogster sorry I'm only now seeing your response. Honestly I don't remember it probably came out fine because the water was floating below the actual lens so it probably came out okay. GoPro was very good with their response and asked that I send them back the camera in order to get a new one. I decided to let it dry out instead of going through all that hassle.
What a bummer! I have to tell you though that after the water finally found its way out and I started using an underwater casing the camera works great. I also learned on RU-vid that if you put a piece of paper towel inside the casing it avoids all condensation!
Today i got my gopro 7 silver, but when after gps setup, after that its ask me for install the gopro app on your phone, thn after follow up instruction to connet your camera, We must install the gopro app, n there's no back n skip option too, i m lil confused
Leave the camera on that screen and install the app on the phone or the tablet. When you launch the app, it will detect your camera and complete the setup and that screen on the camera will disappear.
The GoPro Hero7 Silver automatically stabilizes your footage. It is in the user's manual found here: gopro.com/content/dam/help/hero7-silver/manuals/HERO7Silver_UM_ENG_REVA.pdf
Technically you should be unable to insert it the wrong way so I'm guessing it's in the way it's supposed to be and you hear a beep. Have you tried a different SD card to ensure the card isn't faulty? Lastly, I'd ensure that the camera has the latest firmware.
My camera wont connect to my phone. Do you need an SD card inserted before it will let you "Control My GoPro" from the app? Im so confused maybe I'm too dumb for shit like this -_-.
That's unfortunate. There's a video on my channel on how to pair your GoPro with the app. Did you watch it? You have to put the camera in the pairing mode first. In case you decide to buy it again.
Is there a mode on this camara for instant replay? like be able to hit the record button to capture the last 5-10-15 minutes of whatever the go pro was recording? would be awesome because i use that on my pc for game footage. Its recording 24/7 but when i press the button it saves the last 5-10 minutes of what I did so I got the cool move recorded and only 5-10 minutes of it instead of contant full videos to pick through. lemme know thank you

Apologies for the delayed response. Not sure how I missed it. I can't say for sure but the SD card being inserted shouldn't have any effect on the pairing process. I have a pairing video on my channel because it can be confusing.
Just got one today but it keeps saying no sd card when I put it in and then it will finally read it so I try reformatting then 10 15 minutes in it stops and says no sd card again
I have sold the Hero7 Silver and am using Hero7 Black now but I googled the issue for you and apparently the Hero7 Silver needs bright light for shooting and there's not much you can do about making videos in the dark.
The app IS required for the initial setup so yes you have to install the app on your phone or tablet for the initial setup at least. It's an excellent app for editing videos so I do recommend it.
Download the GoPro app. Connect it with your iPhone, checkout my video on how to do that and once you launch the app, it will automatically check for videos on the camera and notify you. If not, on the camera tab, you can tap view media and import that way.
Follow the below link and it will take you to the GoPro website and select the AppStore if you use an Apple device or the Play store if you use android. Once you install it. There's another video on my channel (second link below) on how to pair your camera with the app with step by step instructions. If it still doesn't help, leave me a comment and we'll see how to help you. Let me know when you successfully install it. gopro.com/en/us/shop/quik-app-video-photo-editor ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CCqYAo3sgjg.html
Perfect. So you've managed to pair it. Good stuff. Yes, it will download the updates first and then reboot the camera. There's nothing more to it. You've done it. Good job 👍🏽
I think you mean fisheye. Yes, it's not fisheye but it's a wide angle. You can check out the GoPro website for the specifications and it will confirm it.
Install the Quik app from the GoPro website on your iMac and then connect the camera to the iMac using the USB-C cable and you should be able to import the videos.
You need a micro SD card in your camera to store videos and pictures. If you haven't already, you need one. Please watch my video again and you'll understand where the micro SD card goes.
