GoPro Light Mod Review and tips 

GoPro Light Mod is an accessory for Hero 8 Black, and is a part of a vlogging setup if you decide to do so.
You can mount it either on Media mod with Display Mod or you can still use it independently thanks to a GoPro mount adapter.

So guys ! Light Mod comes with a USB-c charging cable, GoPro Mount adapter, light diffuser and of course Light itself.
You can mount your Light Mod to your Dslr or Media Mod thanks to a cold shoe mount at the bottom of it OR to any gopro mounts thanks to the adapter.
Light Mod costs around 49.99 $ and there is no discount on it with GoPro plus subscription since they call it "Mods" and not accessories... whatever....
There are 3 Levels of brigtheness on your Light mod and every level has a different power and battery usage:
Level 1 - 20 Lumens , 6 Hours
Level 2 - 60 Lumens , 2 Hours
Level 3 - 120 Lumens, 1 Hour
Strobe - 7 Hours
There is also a hidden mode called Override, quickly double click on the power button to enable it and Light Mod gonna use a power of 200 Lumens for 30 seconds. This mode is even brighter than the Level 3.
Light Mod is also waterproof up to 10m so if it starts raining or something you gonna be just fine, just make sure that after using it in any salt water or if dirty you clean the seal, and rinse the whole unit.
Last but not least, The light diffuser uses 5000k white balance , and makes the overal light more soft and the shadows, highilights are not so strong. So its better to lock your GoPro white balance to 5000k, i tested it out in Auto setting and the skin tones and color temprerature changes when you change the power levels.
