Top tip, for faster 0-60 do not push the 1st gear too much, quick change to 2nd as fast as you can at about 6k rpm. Your 1st is useless to overrev as it's the lowest ratio.

+DarkSideBiker Kommt meinem Kenntnisstand nach auch etwas auf die Fahrbahnbeschaffenheit, Kleidung, Kraftstoff sowie auf die Temperatur des Motors als auch auf die Außentemperatur an. Meine 125ccm Maschine lief im Frühling und Herbst besser als im Winter oder im Sommer. Im Winter klar, zu kalt teilweise hatte ich nur zwei Balken auf dem Temperaturanzeige nach ca. einer halben Stunde fahrt. Im Sommer zu warm um nicht zu sagen zu heiß. Außerdem spielt es noch eine nicht unbetröchtliche Rolle welches Motoröl verwendet wurde und wir alt dies schon ist, sprich wie viele Kilometer es schon im Motor ist.

Das ist aber nicht das originale Ritzel oder?! Weil du schaltest erst bei über 100 km/h in den 6. Gang. Ich fahre eine KTM duke und ich muss spätestens bei 85 in den 6. Gang schalten.
Hello. I have a 2019 model but with akrapovic and my bike is more nervous. In the hight way i take 138. But the motor have 8000 km. And Yamaha have adjust the valves at 1000km and 7000km. It is very diferent now. But a lot of garage do not do this adjust. It is recommended at 1000 and 6000 and 12000. The motor is very diferent. Have a nice day.
@@cllarity45 it is strictly original with the original Akrapovic exhaust. the Yamaha dealer adjusted the valves for me as it should be done. however many do not. maybe that's where there's a difference.

what no dude, if they have the same power the 2 stroke will be lighter whether you like it or not, the 4 stroke will be smoother, but by no means faster since it will be heavier.
Dennis Z. so why arent any bigger cc biks 2 stroke if 2 stroke are as good as you say. Why arent they creating yamaha r1 in 2 stroke if 2 stroke is "so much better"
Dennis Z. i agree that 2 strokes are better in low cc but in higher cc 4 stroke is better. + 4 stroke sound 10 times better than 2 stroke (depending on who you ask). Most people like the 4 stroke sound better
It depends on the wind and road, in the perfect conditions a 125cc 4 stroke naked bike can reach 138 kmh, if his top speed was 125 kmh then it could be headwind or that the road is slightly uphill
Get a honda nsr 125 or a aprilia 125r. 2 stroke is the shit for 125, for strokes are slow and bad on accleration. Honda nsr 125 with the plug removed from the exaust tops around ~145 km/h and 90 mph. stongly recomend the honda nsr. A better started bike and a lot of fun for me atleast, works great for a 17 year old boy that wants some fun. It sounds fantastic as well which make it even more enjoyable. To bad I crashed it and now Ive lost the honda ;(
Niklas weil du nicht bei der maximalen Leistung bist. Wenn du 60 mit 4500rpm fährst und Vollgas gibst kommt bei einer 125er nicht viel an. Bei 0-100 bist du nie so Niedrigtourig sondern immer bei 6500+.
Niklas Das ist 1. nicht der sinn des Durchzugwertes und 2. ist der Lastenwechsel ziemlich stark und bremst dich aus. Mig Runterschalten wären es vermutlich immernoch ca 20 Sekunden,
