People can complain about power all they want but Nintendo as far as making incredible video games goes, has stuffed this generation in a bag and ran away with it. The output has been unreal and unchallenged
Nintendo remain the only game company that still put out quality and quantity at the same time, and that’s kinda depressing that we are down to only one studio now doing that..
Nintendo will be eternal, and I aint being a fanboy far from it. But they have actual game developers loyal to their side, they make their own games. Sony never did this. The other thing is: handheld, they know their loyal target market is kids, you see kids often with that that Switch thing on their hands in queue waiting lines.

@@ElDrHouse2010 It's more than that. Mobile gaming had been Nintendo's biggest competition. XBOX? They're too busy making it the next water cooler. Sony? They so stoopid they know not how they beaten Wii U and XBONE, EVEN WHEN THEY MADE FUN OF XBONE. They still don't get it and now they're poisoning themselves. MEANWHILE, Nintendo is looking up the real shit. Them phones. Ever wondered why they started to embrace and even make games for the phones when the Switch came out? Mobile Gaming is why.
The thing about the PS5 is that most people who wanted one like me couldn't get it due to shortages during 2020, and I kept myself busy at work, and was still finding value in my PS4, and Switch. I mean, if you think about why would I want another dedicated home console when I had no clue about what the world has going through as I was focused on my Job at the time. Months ago when thr Slim was released, I was thinking about finally getting a PS5, but there are so many discounted games on PS4, snd Switch content for me to invest in. Last thing I need is another console to add more backlogs too. And on top of that I have a Modded Wii U/3DS/PSVita to play. The Atlier Series on Vita is something I want to play, have yet to play Fire Emblem on 3DS, I turned my Wii U into an Ultimate Nintendo Game Machine Pre-Switch era. I can finally play Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, and Metal Gear Twin Snackes, seeing as I have MG4 on my PS4, snd thr collect of 2 and 3 on Psvita. There is just so much new stuff to me....I see myself getting a PS5 once a PS6 is released, that way I can finally get a cheaper PS5 with a bunch of discounted games thanks to you guys who rushed it back in 2020. Also 120 hrs in Persona 3 Reload at the moment. PS4 Still kickin. Not to mention Last of Us remastered just looks better on PS4.
I will add that for the last of us Part 1 remake, they didn't use animations from the PS4 or PS3 version, not even rigging aither. They made them close to the original yes but they were made from the ground up AND added changes to help the story (One example is when we see Tess hold a gun while the camera is below and facing up towards her it's before she shoots Robert. The second time she does it is when she asks Ellie to explain her bite mark and in the remake she actually aims her gun at Ellie, that isn't in the PS3 or PS4 version, and there are more examples like this) they also redid all the facial animations by hand the same way the PS3 ones were made for the pre rendered cutscenes but this time in real time and with much more detail they couldn't do before like eyes swelling up in the very last scene of the game when Ellie tells Joel to swear everything he said was true. So the "90% of all animations are the same ones" while it's an exaggerated number obviously, it's still far from accurate The only thing that was 100% from the original game was the voice lines
playstation people cried and were yelling at xbox for the entire "3rd party situation" yet the ps5 is ending lmfao karma sucks doesnt it but we shouldnt have 2 consoles, we should have an all in one to end this console war
Well considering that the ps5 had a rough start because of scalpers there were some who can get lucky if possible but now they are out and I have not bought one considering I have no place for it

Besides A handful of final fantasy games (which will or had most likely make their way onto pc sometime), there really hasn't been a big reason to get a ps5. I still play the backlog of games on my ps4 and enjoy my other games on Switch or Steam Deck. I love the studios who do exclusives on Sony hardware, but... it just ain't enough. I'm happy for those who find value from their consoles though, as you should! ☺️
Im quite happy with my PS5, whether its for exclusives, 3rd party, or psvr2, I have been happy with it. Exclusives are fun and have a good range of variety (not as much as the behemoth that is the Switch) 3rd party games all feel better on PS5 cause of the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback so thats always my place to play 3rd party, and PSVR2 is just incredible fun i love the resident evil games in VR2, I am excited for Metro VR that looks super fun, and I hope Half Life Alyx one day one hopeful special day it makes it to PSVR2
I haven't gotten a PS5 yet to replace my PS4 and to be honest if the next switch can run games like Dragon's Dogma 2 I probably won't get it. Sony was first to raise game prices to $70 US, first to raise prices of their system worldwide besides the States and there is the recent price hike to PS plus on all levels. It's arrogant Sony again, the worst Sony.
